Note on Scars, Faded: This story is on posting hiatus, it is being completed! I will not offer a timeline for completion, but I will assure you that it has not been abandoned. I do have additional chapters written, however I do not want to post until the story is complete. Yes, I am occasionally posting new material in the interim. This helps me maintain some momentum with writing, and all I can say is I'm terribly sorry for taking so long to complete the story and I have learned my lesson on letting the "Post Now" bug get the better of me.

I discovered fan fiction my freshman year of college, and have been hooked ever since. Fan fiction to me enhances the experience of the shows and movies I enjoy. With so many people finding different details and sharing their thoughts and interpretations, it broadens the universe and makes the whole experience richer.

A few years ago, the NCIS episode Twilight had such an impact that I just had to write something. Significance was the result.

I'm always happy to receive constructive criticism. Like many here, I am trying to improve my writing skills. I try to view my work critically, paying attention to diction, pacing and general construction, but one is always limited by their own subjectivity.
