Sequel to A Hard Knock Life. This story picks up at the end of the summer following high school graduation. The teenage boy that Jess adopted is starting college, dealing with Jess dating, and working on the transition to adulthood.

Some behind the scenes moments, mostly between Luke and Jess, that I would have liked to have seen on the show. Most focus on Jess' early days staying with Luke and his adjustment to trusting Luke and accepting him as his family. A few will be set later in the show or post-series.
