I am not what you would call a typical Anime fan. My college age kids (my youngest is college age) got me hooked. I haven't been watching anime very long, so I am by no means an expert. I tend to like romantic comedy/slice of life, but I also like FLCL and Lain.

The usual reason I write a story (I've written some that I have not published... yet) is because I liked the story, but thought that the ending left something to be desired. Sometimes the story just leaves you hanging and doesn't resolve to my satisfaction, or as in the case of Mahoromatic, the ending is just wrong.

I do like "happy ever after" endings, probably because I am a hopeless romantic (I think I'm romantic, my wife says I'm hopeless). I may actually at some point publish the other strories I've written. I am also working on two stories not based on existing stories.

When I am not writing fan fiction or watching anime or reading manga, I am a computer system engineer (a certified computer geek; people tell me what they want and I make it work).
