It's been almost 100 years since Miaka returned to our world to live with Taka, and her story, set down by her manga-ka friend Watase Yuu, has long since been forgotten among the annals of manga history... By all except her family, of course. Kasumiya Mikako, great-great niece to the former Suzaku no Miko, has spent her life listening to the family legends, pouring over the ancient comics and animated series, and dreaming of one day finding the Universe of the Four Gods for herself. But when her dream comes true, she very quickly discovers that fantasy and reality don't always match up so well. Something is corrupted within the Four Gods, and it's even affecting the seishi. Can Mikako save the empire? Will she even want to?

Status: Currently on hiatus, as I am busy focusing on original projects and the completion of Fushigi Yuugi: The Next Chapter through my other penname, itsthedee. The future of BW uncertain at the moment, but I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on the likelihood of its being continued/finished.
