Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter.

Hello,

I'm S. R. Forests. I have been writing stories since I was ten, and I began writing a novel three years ago which I have yet to finish. I use Harry Potter fanfiction as a way to help prevent writer's block. I work at an Elementary School with Kindergarten children. I have tons of cats. I enjoy theatre, and have worked on many productions as Stage Managers and Assistant Directors. The most recent production I worked on was an After School Program Production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, which was put on by the third, fourth, and fifth grade students, and they did an excellent job. I only hope they continue drama when they get older.

Enough about me. Check out my stories.

What the hell is so special about Twilight? I'm sorry, I don't see the appeal. The writing is awful, the prose is so ultraviolet you have to wear sunscreen just to read it, yet the damn thing became the Georgia Peach Award winner for 2008, or something like that. It makes me ashamed to be from Georgia. I'm seriously scared of what next year's winner will be.

Last night I was watching a rerun of House, and an idea occurred to me. Superbugs, you know, the bacteria that become resistant to antibiotics, are very much like the vampires in Twilight. You see, these vampires have become resistant to sunlight, that's why is doesn't kill them like it's supposed to. But, like with the superbugs, we humans still must find a way to eradicate them. I'm proposing some research into a new vampire-killing technique. Maybe the True Literature Department would give us a grant?

Being a teenager is no excuse for writing like a four-year-old. There are resources out there for you to use. Things like:

If you're one of those people who can't take criticism, whether constructive or not, you should NOT, I repeat NOT, be posting your stuff online on a public website where anyone in the world can log on and read it. Think about it.
