Hello, my name is Bex, which is short for Becky, which is short for Rebecca. I call myself a mongoose because those critters are awesome, unless you live in Hawaii, in which case they're pests. I'm eighteen years old and a sophomore in college, double-majoring in English and English Ed.

What else is there to say? I play a musical instrument and write a lot, mainly poetry and fantasy. My favorite music is rock'n roll, and I don't really listen to any other kind. I'm a bit of an anglophile, so don't be surprised if you see some British slang scattered in my fics - particularly the word "snog," my favorite word in the world. Which should let on what kind of person I am...(all right, all right, it means "to make out." Come on, haven't you read Harry Potter?) Favorite colors are green, black, and silver. Favorite authors are Harry Harrison, Agatha Christie, and J.K. Rowling. Favorite actor is (duh) Cillian Murphy, second favorite is Jason Isaacs. Favorite articles of clothing are my knee-high black leather boots, my beige trench coat, the scarf I knitted myself, and my cropped jeans jacket. These articles of clothing are also quite likely to pop up in my fics.
