UPDATE ON GONE: To all you fantastically patient and dedicated and wonderful (yes, I am groveling) readers of Gone - you can expect an update this week! I am sooooooo sorry it's taken me this long. Unfortunately, I had to take several months off from everything else to finish my book. But it's finally done! Now all I've got to do is go over it once more (to ensure I'm satisfied) and then off it goes to the editors, publishers, etc... So you can expect more frequent updates from this point on.

Hm... what to say, what to say. I'm a short, sarcastic, spunky, Southern sweetheart (say that 5 times fast) who adored the Harry Potter series up until book seven. Now, I seriously question JKR's sanity and talent as a writer. Not to say the book (Deathly Hallows) wasn't entertaining, but it certainly was lacking from a literary critic's stand-point. Plot holes, breaking rules within the universe, 200 pages of uselessness, and a ridiculously contrite ending made the seventh book a flop for me. But, I'm beyond excited for the new X-men cartoon (Wolverine and the X-Men) due out in early 2009. Yeah X-men! I'm also in the midst of finishing up my own book, which will be the first in a series of four. I'm a full-time student, love riding horses, rock climbing, cooking, and am unable to text my friends without correctly spelling out each word. Questions or comments? Ana: LOL. I can't believe I inspire people to ramble! sends Ana virtual hug Yeah! And heck yeah for angry Rogue. She's always so much fun to write, especially with angry Remy because you're totally right... they do play off each other perfectly. And hey, what fun is Romy without drama? Not that I'm gonna prolong this whole Rogue and Remy: to be or not to be, forever because that would drive even ME nuts (and I'm the writer)! No, that'll be at least semi resolved by chapter twenty (probably sooner, that's just the absolute latest). But I won't tell you what happens because then, well, where would be the fun in that? But let me just say... there are a number of reasons why this story is entitled Gone and Rogue leaving the X-men is only one of them. And glad you liked the Rogue/Magneto memory. I seem to have ignored it so far, but there will be plenty mention of it in the next chapter, so look out for that! Hehehe. Crazy Remy is hysterical and so fun to write! Especially when he drives! Alas, I didn't focus on the actual freeing of Pietro, mainly because I wanted Rogue to ignore that battle on purpose. So that we could see how much she and Remy are starting to care for each other (the extent of which they totally won't realize for a bit). But I hope you liked the chapter nonetheless. Thanks for everything!
