The Courier's road led him eastwards, to the West before the East. Some might have considered him a broken man, leaving behind a future that left him wanting. Yet, a chance brush with death and crimson fury may provide him another road, another path – a path above, within the stars of another galaxy with its own future on the line, herded by its own shepherd and her flock.

Rex Craster, formerly Courier Six, now leads the Mojave as a nation. After breaking both the Bear and the Bull, Rex stands as the leader of a united Mojave. Saddled with keeping the Mojave together as well as battling his own personal demons Rex must also deal with threats from this world and the next. Hello and thank you for stopping by to read my eighth submission to my annual Commander Shepard Birthday story anthology. I hope you'll take the time to read my other birthday stories. Btw, trigger warnings. This is mostly about non-con and the terrors of vulnerability and isolation. About creepy as I could make it because turning forty-five is creepy.

Even after seeing their world burned, Humanity was able to stand up again, and push beyond their pre-war status and reach the heavens. But how will a hardened Humanity handle life among the stars? And how will others react to this aggressive newcomer?

Humanity managed to reach the stars after blowing itself back to the stone age. The quarians escaped the Veil and headed deeper into unknown space, colonizing worlds there. From there, humanity and the quarian people must deal with what the galaxy throws at them, whether that is rogue Spectre or a bureaucratic Council. Oh. And they have to deal with each other, of course.

In the year 2084, explorers found technology ably to control the very fabric of space and time. They called it second greatest discovery of human history, the first was power of Atoms. The rest of the galaxy call in... Mass Effect.

Arc I Story I - Years after the second battle at Hoover Dam, an experiment at Big Mountain had gone awry, sending the Courier to a universe where humanity became a spacefaring race. In exchange for a way to fix his Transportalponder, the Courier joined Liara T'Soni and Feron in finding Commander Shepard's body. However, they weren't the only ones looking. Art by WinterSpectrum.

The Vault Dweller helped the master, and only one group escaped the earth before the green tide. Now watch as the Enclave expands into the galaxy.

The World was at War, bombs fell, and alliances were made. People died, and things were destroyed. But the most important thing was reborn Like a Phoenix.

Earth has been united by a combination of the Sole Survivor, the Lone Wanderer, and the Courier. As the United Earth Government, the Dominion of New Vegas, and the Enclave of Luna expand their horizons, they come into conflict with the Citadel Alliance. Times are changing and it is the dawn of a new age for the galaxy.

Long after the days of the Courier and the Lone Wanderer, humanity uses the technology of alien visitors to build themselves back up. When they reach out into the cosmos however, they discover that the galaxy is not always receptive to the adventurous. Rated for violence and language. Bashing kept at a minimum.

Humanity has escaped it's blighted cradle! Many decades ago, intrepid citizens from the four corners of the Wasteland made their escape on the mighty Vault-Tec Arc. Now the newly settled Promised Land sector poises on the precipice of a new discovery that will shake the fragile order. Old enemies will rise up from places forgotten, and new heroes will have to rise to meet them.

Among the ashes of the old world, the Brotherhood of Steel rose up. After finally uniting Post-war America by destroying the NCR and Annexing Vegas, They set about uniting the world and looking to the stars. Being cautious after the finding the Prothean ruins on Mars they prepared for war, because war, war never changes. Rated M for blood and gore. (Timeline updated again)
