Reviews for Something Broken
Angelington chapter 19 . 5/14/2019
This story is just wonderful!
Sofia sal chapter 8 . 9/30/2018
Wow! trying to survive to this one...
Sofia sal chapter 3 . 9/30/2018
My heart, skipping so many beats, my breath suspended for so long, but I didnt realize it, my eyes filling up with so many inevitable tears, and myself, trying not to cry, as if somebody was here with me, about to realize how do I feel, only that I am alone reading this...
So many emotions conjured with only words, a magic trick, it is just a magical trick, isnt it?
Sofia sal chapter 2 . 9/30/2018
Well, I really liked the in-between dialogues and scenes that we all felt were missing on this chapter. And, I dont know, every time I read about this faked suicide, or every time I watch it again, even when I know for certain, that is fiction, that the characters never ever existed or were real, I f**en react as if it was all real, surprising myself every time.
And I really, really love the way you write, I like writing myself too, but I do that in spanish, because I am a spanish-speaking person. Congratulations!
Guest chapter 3 . 2/2/2018
When its sherlock jumping and his return its always about john and HIS feelings and his alone is annoying
Moni Hasnone chapter 3 . 1/22/2018
This was wonderful deduction by John. I really love fics where John sees how willing sherlock was to protect him, and even without a recording on top of the rooftop, you managed to do just that. Thank you!
LittleLurker chapter 18 . 10/30/2017
I truly loved this story!
Still have to read "Something Borrowed" but I do hope that you kind of redeem Mycroft because I find it hard to believe that he really bears ill will to his little brother. Like every other human being he might have made mistakes and taken wrong decisions but I just won't believe he put Sherlock in harms way on purpose.
Best wishes, D.
novelteas74 chapter 3 . 3/30/2017
These last chapters just ripped my heart out. Hits close to home as sadly, not long ago I had two family members who died this way (and I mean exactly that- one from a gunshot to the head and the other from jumping off a 12 story building).

Strangely, even though it's difficult to watch, The Reichenbach Fall is so beautifully acted by Benedict and Martin that it's become my favorite episode.

What I'm trying to say is that I've been reading a lot of Sherlock stories the last few months and the feelings and emotions you convey in this story are pitch perfect. I really and truly cried hard by the time I finished this chapter. Simply outstanding writing.
O'Donnell chapter 13 . 7/17/2016
'I've been grieving for a computer.' What a brilliant line. And isn't this a scene we all wanted to see. And what did John do then? Now we know. How complex, how revealing. How scary and how honest. That's the way it is when you walk the battlefield with Sherlock Holmes
O'Donnell chapter 12 . 7/17/2016
A very good and interesting Redbeard line. Very revealing about both brothers. Very good on their relationship, quite moving too. Facing facts, facing their difference from other people, and what it means and achieves. Good stuff.
O'Donnell chapter 11 . 7/17/2016
Good chapter, true and accurate process of what is a transit and a difficult period to live through or to write and maintain action and tension, which this , as always, some very interesting details and touches
O'Donnell chapter 10 . 7/17/2016
Ah yes - 'Continue.' 'WHAT?' Excellent stuff. So what else can Mycroft do...even though John commenting is not really helping, even though he (both hes?) think it is. Lovely stuff.

What a great way to make work 'You didn't get me out - I got me out.' Superb. Well done. Great last paragraph.
O'Donnell chapter 9 . 7/17/2016
A good view from both sides, brother to brother. Diplomacy, intelligentce and action, from sophisticated to brutal. Very good!
O'Donnell chapter 8 . 7/17/2016
A quiet conversation in the dark - and John still having the instinct that the connection to Sherlock is still there. Oh yes, precisely , isn't it? This reads just the way it could have been, should have been even. And he still cannot saya goodbye. Anyone, who has ever lost anyone, knows how that feels, and how impossible it is to actually say goodbye. Absolutely are ever so proud of John Watson.
O'Donnell chapter 7 . 7/17/2016
Great storytelling. Great objectivity, follow through and thought processes. How icy the two brothers can be to each other. Very interesting and intriguing reading.
