This had so many lines in it that made me laugh out loud-literally. "Damn Mustang and his weird as hell team." "Why couldn't Mustang climb the military ladder like a normal person?" "I clean up a lot after the military when someone makes a mess of things." "Fuery looked as green as a tomato garden." Loved the characterizations and the look at the team from a different POV. Great job!

"I could do better." REALLY, ROY? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This was a fabulous line and I loved it.
And the line about Roy still trying to become the man he hoped to be... Wow. That one was deep and so true and right and... GAH. But, oh, for a small one with black hair in Riza's arms...

You SHOULD be proud of this one! I love seeing them in a military capacity, seeing how they work together. This is amazing. I love how Riza knows what he's thinking and feeling. Perfectly done!

Perhaps one day... Sigh.
This made me very sad for some reason-and made me want impossible things for them. Very much them, and I love everything you do with the three of them, even if it's just quick interactions in a bar. Love the idea of a flowery Maes. He's even funnier and more adorable all at the same time!

"It took a surprising amount of strength to pull away from her and stand up straight." Awwww! That's just so sweet! I'm glad you did this one, where he had to "worry over her" for once. Very Riza, to work to the point of passing out, and somewhat sneaky Roy, knowing what to say to get her to agree to stay. Very good! Love it!

Oh! I never thought I'd read such a clueless Riza! Poor girl! She always is one step ahead of him (or so it seems), so this was a surprise!

I just applauded you for one of the best ending sentence ever, and then you threw this at me. Well, I'll still claim "the best" for the last one, but say that the ending to this one was... strangely satisfactory. The letter's fate is absolutely assured by her appearance in Ishval. It makes sense. I read it and nodded to myself and said, "Yes, he would do that."

So poignant and sad, though, and it does hurt to see how devastated he is by everything around him, and how even more devastated he will be when she shows up. Beautifully written.

Okay, that last line was one of the most brilliant ending lines of anything I've ever read. That line: "Mustang was an alchemist at heart beneath the uniform of a soldier, and he too required equivalent exchange," is PERFECT. Well done!

I also love things from Havoc's POV, so this one made me very happy and content. Love it!

This is one of the most gorgeous representations of the Roy/Riza relationship I've ever read.

I'm not sure how I want to categorize how I feel at this one. This one is so sexy, yet I hesitate before using that word, because there are so many layers to it. It's so sad, the secrecy and rules that keep them apart. It is incredibly intimate, no matter what other adjectives I could bring into this review, and I think that's what I like most about it.

This was beautiful. Yes, angsty, but beautiful. You wrote how much they mean to one another so well, and I think this might be a head canon moment for me from now on.
