Aha! "Stained glass window"... I understood that reference! (I'm surprised no one else did. *squints suspiciously*) That is one of my favorite movies ever! And SG-1 is one of my favorite shows of all time. I just love RDA. :)

I’ve been reading a lot of your stuff lately and think you’re one of the best authors out there. I love everything about this. And it’s been well over a decade since I saw SG1, but that was my favourite episode too. It clicked when John said, “I was afraid you would splint it”. And it’s also just occurred to me that I also wrote a Walking Dead fic a few years ago that was the same story, I just didn’t connect the dots at the time. So, thanks for sharing this. I hope i’m not going to run out of your work any time soon.

You're very talented. You really bring them to life, and you manage to nail them perfectly. The dialogue is always spot- on, feels like something we could have seen on the show.
And I so love the second seasons setting... just John, Harold, Fusco, Carter and Bear!

Wow. This is beautiful, in so many ways, on so many different levels... Wow. Just absolutely breathtaking (no pun intended ;)... sorry, that was bad! :D ). The depth you reached in the moments where John was at the "end of the line" so to speak, the words, the friendship, the compassion... my heartstrings were seriously pulled. It was fantastic. Of course, I love John whump, and this served that up fantastically. Pushing beyond his limits to stack the boxes, knowing he was in trouble but keeping it together for Finch, walking Finch through splinting his leg and staying so calm, breaking Finch's fall... these are all things I love about John that you captured so well and served right to me. Thank you. And thank you, too, for incorporating Bear, because Bear rocks :) I would love, LOVE if you wrote more POI stories! You are awesome, and are an amazing writer.

Ahha, the similarities must come from a certain episode of Stargate. I wasn't even trying to figure it out, but the splint gave it away! I love that episode, and it is so fun to see what you did with it here. I am excited to read where you take it!
