your story is absolutely lovely. It's the second time I stopped to read it, and it always impresses every time how real is your characterization of relationships.

Neville and Hermione are a couple I ship so much! Most people fail to see how hard it's to have a relationship when you don't have the same interests and have such antagonic personalities like Hermione and Ron. They were always fighting.

Neville is a darling and such a smart and sweet guy!

Awww, that was truly lovely! The base characteristics of both Hermione and Neville were presented in hauntingly stark clarity - she's never still, always running around taking care of endless things other than herself, and he's...he's Neville - strong, steady, loyal, reliable and generous... They're perfect for each other and I want a Neville of mine own, dammit.

Lovely ending, too - I didn't necessarily need to read about Neville's penis/Hermione's vagina because hearts and arms and voices are so much more important.

This was lovely. I adore the planting if trees in quiet remembrance of those lost. A field of potions ingredients is perfect for Snape. I loved watching Hermione finding her way to Neville. Amazing!

This is great, and a very adult look at the way that relationships just fail sometimes.

I think Hermione/Neville makes SO much more sense than Hermione/Ron, and I absolutely adore the idea that Neville went around planting trees to memorialize those who had died. I love it so much that I'm going to pretend it's canon from here on out. :-)

I loved it. I liked your explanations of why the original couples didn't work without bashing anyone involved. I loved your characters- they were believable and in character with cannon. My only "criticism" is that it was too short. I could have read at least 10 more chapters.

This story was really unique for a lot of reasons. The Neville and Hermione focus is obviously different, but even then the two didn't really spend much time together. It's almost as if all those feelings were already there, they just refused to see them because they were expecting a different outcome and there were other things they needed to take care of first.

This is quite a lovely story. It was refreshing to have Hermione in a different pairing that didn't include constant Ron-bashing.
