I typically never read stories written in the first person... that I'm reading and enjoying yourself just speaks to how much I love it!

This character study, if you will, of the Daedra is fascinating and their mysterious nature and dangerous tendencies feels very tangible. Awesome stuff.

I saw you mention how Skyrim lacks depth but how TES lore really doesn't and I agree: TES lore is amazing and weird and soon deep and diverse.

I never really quite know where to start when reviewing. By the time I get to the latest chapters I forget half the details that kept me entertained before. However, the big picture? This is gorgeous!

I like how you started out inspired by mods and just went with your roleplay. At the beginning that stands out, because some things are still left in the open and your writing is more succinct. It seemed like you left yourself some room as to what to do until you decided on it. Which is not a bad thing or anything, just noticeable because, starting around the double-digit chapters, your character development finally kicks in and Alzena's (deteriorating) personality starts to shine. We also get more direct messages between her and her master and a mystery to unravel, too! Before that it's almost funny how she gets involved in all kinds of daedric things, but it's all in a superficial way. The Azura 'arc' really kicked the story off in the dangerous direction.

I really like your writing and I think it's getting better with each chapter. The curt, to-the-point chapters in the beginning reeled me in and the later chapters hooked me. Because you now have many more characters and the protagonist to express emotions, your writing style really shines. It manages to bring out both humor as well as a dark side to magic that the Elder Scrolls never quite managed to show the way you do. And how you peel off layer by layer of Alzena's past... I'm intrigued!

Might check out the Euphonics for Writers you mentioned, while I'm at it. Seems interesting.

TL;DR: Recommended. Like, I have nothing else to add, it's pretty like a gem already, damn it.

Im was so happy to see that this story had been updated! This is another good chapter that leaves me just wanting to read more of it. Also, thank you very much for the book ideas. I'll make sure to take a look at them.
