Things are getting quite out of hand in poor Lucy's life it seems to me. Wonder what kinds of options Lady fate will be offering Lucy now that she's appeared. Also want to know who this Starla is that Mavis mentioned.

Welcome back. Looks like Laxus is in a bit of a quandary with Lucy's temporary blank space from the shock and pain she was in when he promised to protect her with his life. Seems that Ivan and his crew are going to be trouble again in the near future, and Laxus is going to be out for blood vengeance at this rate. Love how Prick is goading Laxus every chance he gets about how Lucy is Laxus' mate. Poor guy can't catch a break where his dragon lacrima's soul is concerned.

Long time no see, but I am glad that this tale is finally getting an update. Seems to me that Laxus is in quite the tussle with himself, or at least his own magic. Not a surprise he's in such a foul mood with that other voice giving him fits and making all sorts of commentaries. At least we know that Erza and company found where Ivan's nasty little band was holding Lucy all along, and that means they've got a bit of a lead, if not something too concrete. Whatever the note remnants still hold, I'm sure the brainiacs of Levy, Lucy, and Freed with Makarov's help can figure out a lot more about Ivan's plot so long as they get access to those charred bits of paper. Gotta love the fact that Lexus calls his Lacrima's sentience Prick of all things. Considering how much Laxus likes to be a bit of a jerk, it is a really fitting nickname I figure. Hoping you'll have time to update fairly soon.

Got to say I enjoyed Laxus naming his dragon voice Prick because it is a totally Laxus thing to do! Seems to me that Lucy is in for a lot of crazy now that Laxus has decided that it's his job to protect Lucy, and I see all sorts of snit fits on the horizon as Lucy gets mad at him for being overprotective while she tries to deal with overprotective Laxus mode. Got a feeling that Dart, Haze, and all of Raven Tail's guild are going to rue the day that Ivan gave them orders to grab Lucy. 4 furious Dragon Slayer magic users (attached to her as siblings through lover levels) means that all four very ticked off mages are going to extract vengeance form some hides before this is all done. Once Wendy and Chelia get done healing her, I totally see the lot going to war and then some over the damage Lucy took.

Very nice starting chapter. Not the dull fare that so often is tied intrinsically with Laxus and Lucy stories at all. I'm relieved to see that this is not appearing to be the typical cliche much to my eternal relief. Not sure if I am going to like these new powers Lucy is going to get, but I truly am hopeful that said powers won't be the cliche trap of turning Lucy into a dragon or wolf slayer as everyone seems determined to do. Would be awesome if she got new powers associated with the stars because that would be a very fresh and appealing change of pace.
