Finally caught up on this fic. I must say, as "bitchy" as Heather may be, she has a pretty believable worldview. Having interacted with other people and tried to get by in society, I can say that it is indeed as brutal and dog-eat-dog as Heather says it is. I definitely think a lot of nice people have hidden motives and that society is built on at least some foundation of dishonesty. So I can't fault her for doing morally questionable stuff and socially engineering other people to get ahead. I would do the same thing if I had any charisma. As Heather said, you're either the sheep or the shepherd.

Summer and Heather's reconciliation does seem a bit too sudden though, and I thought Summer would show a bit more suspicion of Heather. Summer has developed a lot from the somewhat ditzy air-headed teenage girl she was in Season 1 and she does have her moments of insightfulness. I also think Heather should have a somewhat cynical mentality toward Summer and Morty and she should definitely have some thoughts of how to bend Summer to her will, exploit her, steal some of Rick's tech, etc. I'd be interested in seeing Summer and Heather interact with Rick and Morty and friends more often, and how that's gonna affect them.

Wasn't Cody the president of his high school's Albert Einstein Fan Club in canon? Of course he would find Rick to be pretty cool! However I find it rather OOC for Rick to care about Cody or indulge in his requests, especially if he's not a close friend of Morty like Harold or Kitty.

Pretty interesting interaction between Rick and Dawn, with Rick being a bit creeped out by Dawn's aura powers. I don't think she and Rick are going to be friendly with each other in the long run...

Nice chapter. Hopefully Summer doesn't get Heather hooked on space pheromones.

Summer Smith:

I got to appreciate the story that sort of keeps Summer in character. I mean, she always a bit competitive with Morty Smith. It just now that Summer felt she was ahead of Morty with social skills and making friends, but in "Rick and Morty New Drama Adventure" we have Morty with good friends that constantly around him. That kind is sibling relationships with some siblings feeling awkward or feeling incompetent with how the other sibling excels. With Summer in "Rick and Morty", she kind of competes for Rick Sanchez attention and trying to stand out more as a character in her own way. Morty is just dragged with Rick on every adventure, so Summer could feel that sometimes her grandpa favors his grandson over his granddaughter. I got to admit, Heather is very manipulative and I could see she would like Summer as a friend that actually gets her. Lindsay very simple and goes with everything, and Dakota understands Heather to a degree. It just that Heather and Summer seem to click as fiends. Honestly? I could see Summer Smith being in a "Total Drama" series character and form a alliance with Heather to fin competitions, but also betray each other to win the prize money.

1) Will Heather, Dakota, and Lindsay be pulled into Summer adventures with Rick?

2) Should we expect Heather, Dakota and Lindsay to interact more with Harold and Kitty over the dangerou/bizarre scifi adventures they had with Summer or Morty they have with Rick?

My hopes

1) I kind of hopes so. Anyone hope to see Post-Apocalypse Summer and how that influences Heather, Dakota, and Lindsay. Because I do.

2) I mean, it would make sense. They do not have common clicks or social circles, but these "Total Drama" series characters have very few people who can understand the crazy adventures that make a person question their mean/existence in the multiverse.

Definitely interesting that you not only brought Melody back, but also didn't have her just show up for one chapter. Looking forward to this arc (especially a jealous Zoey lol).

The hangout was interesting, what with Dawn and Rick having a serious chat, yet Rick still being evasive. Looking forward to where that goes, as well.

Lastly, I just gotta ask: Courtney, after you take down Rick Sanchez, are you gonna fight Thanos, too? I get Courtney really has no idea what she's actually doing, yet we the audience/readers know she's basically trying to take on the smartest, most dangerous guy in the multiverse. Not sure what your exact plan is, but SO looking forward to Courtney's defeat XD

Interesting chapter. I'd love to see a debate between Dawn and Rick.

For a moment, I thought you drop this story but it's good to see you back to writing. Had no idea you were having a co-writer problem. Hopefully this one will be completely reliable. But I have to say I can't help but feel that you're not getting Rick's character right. I just don't see him humoring some teen with their little inventions let alone tolerate other kids besides his grand kids and he can barely tolerate them. Also Courtney, Bridgette and Emma trying to take down Rick? I hope somebody warns them about what usually happens to those who cross Rick. It never ends well and if they don't learn to back off, they're going to learn the hard way. Another thing is you really should send them on a really crazy adventure. Something completely off the rails. This wholesome thing is nice and all but it's not Rick and Morty without something totally ballistic.
