This was honestly a joy to read. I love how as the readers, we know for a fact Don's not okay and that shit is about to get a whole lot worse for them down the line, but for this moment, this snippet in time, things are going well. Donnie's stubbornness, Mikey's huge heart... Just love all of it. Well done, seriously.

This little one shot is... Realistic... and freaky... and heartening. I enjoy every moment of it.

This was wonderful from start to finish! It always bugged me how no one really said much of anything about the wound that wasn't healing even after months of their time, so even if nothing ultimately came out of this, it's nice to see that someone noticed, that someone tried to help. And that reassurance at the end, just what Donnie really needed to hear. Beautiful!
