![]() Author has written 19 stories for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Guardians of the Galaxy, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, and Steven Universe. Hello everyone... Alright enough with the profile page, get back to reading! I'm telling ya' nothing written here will be interesting. Still here? Well alright then. This is RanTracer, recently changed from TurtleTracer to fit the new direction I want to take this profile. From now on I will be cross posting on AO3. I won't post the majority of my later work on this site, as it's quality is questionable at best, but I shall transfer some of my favorites. In the real world I write about health insurance. Watch it you critics, I can hear your judgmental thoughts from here! Besides it is way more fun than it sounds. Learning and communicating health policy, especially global policy, is a real treat. It is work I will never grow tired of. However, that doesn't mean I have lost my love for stories. Whether reading or writing I am truly obsessed with stories, and fan-fiction is a form of expression in which I can release this need. Defending my continued dabble in fan-fiction is common practice for me at this point, especially from the academic types. I have listened to many English Professors express their distaste in fan-fiction. These individuals are right. It does take less imagination to create a fan-fiction than an original story. On the other hand, take a look at the thousands putting out their own original works and see what an impact they have on the lives of their readers. For most, the sad reality is very little. With fan-fiction you can have an audience, a voice, and perhaps more liberties in style than could ever hoped to be accepted in publishing. Never give up on your dreams for a future in original content, however fan-fiction has its place in the world. And I think to dismiss this is to miss out on what this form of media has to offer. Anyways, feel free to message me if anyone feels inclined to do so. I enjoy talking to fellow fan-fiction enthusiasts. So, without further ado. Keep reading all you readers and keep writing all you writers. Because this place is full of stories, and nothing is better than that. |
