This is actually a quite interesting premise with lots of potential.

What a fresh new look at all of these characters...especially excited for the Nora/Ruby matchup.

This is an incredibly interesting character piece! I love seeing how these characters interact, especially at the hands of a very talented writer who has a strong grasp on all of their personalities.

Here's to hoping for more of this, because stories like this are underappreciated and deserve so much more love.

I wanted Ruby to find Nora (Yang's not the only one who makes explosions, as Nora repeatedly reminded us), but she's the one who's last known action fits best with Ren getting bowled over.

I particularly like your Ruby; her ditziness is both very her and very fun to read.

Great first chapter! Loved how each character had a distinct voice, and there was a great mix of individual worries and funny moments (I'd also never really thought about how Pyrrha got through half the forest without her weapon, nice touch). Can't wait to see how partners and teams shake out.
