I wish I had read this story during the OQ advent! Such a beautiful, compelling fic, a rollercoaster of emotions, the perfect Christmas tale really. You did a wonderful job in describing their conflicting feelings! I loved it!

God, I loved this. I really can't even express how much I loved this. I read it first when it came out on the advent site... and I read it at like 2am when I couldn't sleep. I was just laying in the dark, crying into my pillow... and I couldn't stop reading. And today, I woke up early and decided to give in another read... and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time.

This is such a gorgeous verse. And as much as I adore the OQ story in this verse, I love the way David is portrayed in this. I kind of can't get over it. It's probably the first and only time I've ever felt any sort of attachment to the character, one way or the other. And I love that he was a good guy-that he loved Regina and her kids, and though he wanted a life with her, he realized they could still be friends. But my absolute favorite thing about this verse is the emotion in it-there is just SO MUCH EMOTION-and it was so beautifully written. They were in such a terrible, yet wonderful situation-and I empathized with every character and found them all so compelling.

There were so many great fics posted this holiday season, but this one might be my favorite because it's stayed with me. I keep thinking about it, and I can't wait to start reading the one-shots!

I actually love the David/Regina dynamic in this. I've always enjoyed fics with their close friendship (even though that's super rare to find. No one lets them hang out lol). Love this whole fic. As bex would say, hashtag allthefeels.

I have a lot of hope for Robin and Regina now. I really hope there is some more jealousy from Regina about Ana. And maybe some great hurt blowup conversations between Robin and Regina. I love a good messy story.
