This story is so good! I... kinda blasted all the way through it and on a work night no less! ...Ooops. XD

I love the whole dynamic between Eli and Steve - it's such a weird brand of fierce loyalty that I haven't really seen before in a lot of fiction and I think you captured it perfectly here.

This scenario was genuinely scary! But in a way that very much could be part of the show! I feel like I just watched an episode and it was awesome. Aaaaaa so much in the details from Eli cup-and-paper scooping up the rock to the trusty vespa to everything going vividly haywire and next thing you know he's stuck in a tree overnight and there's dead animals and he's (hesitantly) calling in the cavalry.

It's always fun to see the trollhunters gang from an outside perspective! Made even better by the really well-blocked fight scene in front of the cave - the pacing didn't slow down for a second!

Despite the gravity of the situation, their handling of it is pretty funny.

They really need to be stalking Jim right now, since it's clear only the Trolls will be able to help. Now THAT should be an interesting scene!
