I mean, damn this is dark. I don't really know what I expected from 'death fic', but still... I love it

Okay so...I will yell forever about angst and how I hate watching my children suffer. And there is a good portion of that that's true. However, at heart I am a complete sucker for angst and THIS. THIS IS THE BEST KIND.

LIKE...THIS IS THE KIND OF ANGST THAT RIPS YOU APART BUT LEAVES YOU /VALIDATED/. It's getting your heart repeatedly crushed as your faves die (because I mean Pixal and Skylar and NYA did nOT DESERVE) and everything is miserable but then. But then we get Lloyd /angry/, broken and empty and /vengeful/ and hot! Damn! Am I here for this kind of dark Lloyd! I SCREECHED when he killed Streaks, oh man. Like, it's so horribly painful because this is Lloyd! Sweet sunshine child! And he's lost everything that makes him /Lloyd/ in that moment, so it sucks! But at the same time it's /justified/, and by the time he kills Harumi you're just like yes. Do it Lloyd. Do it for us all.

(Also Harumi's death. Her last lines. CHILLS, I HAD CHILLS. It's not the most dialogue-heavy fic but every bit of dialogue here is fantastic. I'm shook.)

To sum it all up I hated this and loved this in equal measure and I'm still going to be screaming about that last line next month.
