I really like this story its rather unique in keeping things some what following canon while adding good chances like Anko as their teacher which i think is perfect for them as it gives Sakura someone to look up to and know that the village has strong female ninja as well as making sure neither of the boys get too much attention. So many good changes to this plus i like the fact that Sakura had a slow change of heart toward Naruto as well as making Sasuke not a complete donkey

this chapters scene with Anko and Sakura was nice to show that Anko also has a heart and cares deeply for her students plus she also has a great mate in Iruka :D which i like the idea of.

then we have the touching moment with Sakura and Naruto which i think was done rather well to not make anything rushed allowing each other to let their emotions come out before the surprise kiss YES of course the little ending part with Jiraiya was rather funny :)

Oh thank you for making a very good NaruSaku fic! And I agree this pairing would've made more sense than NaruHina (I like Hinata, she kinda reminds me of myself sometimes but c'mon the genjutsu hook up was a WEAK method to bring them together. Even after she confessed to Naruto, the boy never confronted her about it or seriously try to get to know her better. He still even called Sakura his gf in front of his dad later in the series! Lol). SO disappointed in Kishi for selling out...

There's one thing I'm wondering about and it was most probably addressed in the previous chapters but it's been a while and I can't remember. What are their ages currently?

Nice to see this finally updated, your remark about this story still being read is essentially your fault. You've posted six other stories that were never updated past the first chapter and ignored this one that whole time. If you want your works read you have to update it at least once a month.

As to the story itself, the reveal to Sasuke was well done as was the confrontation between Sakura and her mother. I'm glad to see that you've changed up more than team seven's sensei and are getting away from repeating the events of the canon story. Hopefully the relationship between Naruto and Sakura will develop past the kiss and blush stage. Maybe they can have a date once they're outside the village walls.

This was a nice surprise since I thought the story was dead, please update a little more or you just might lose what readers you have left.
