I do like the idea of the story. To tell the truth, if this is taking place in the past, long before Luna became Nightmare Moon. And you know that the Nerima will not leave Ranma alone, what if they attempt to travel to where Ranma was, but a thousand years has past. In that time, Ranma could have adjusted to living as both a pony and princess, especially after the first hundred years she is under the belief the Nerima Group is long dead. Reason why I put this idea is well the tell the truth, other Discord making an appearance, the other girls are not there, and thus you can easily shift from the present to the past. As I am not sure if you even doing possible pairings and related stuff, her friendship with Luna could change if you want. And I could also see Ranma time to time in her long life adopt an orphan pony to raise as her own child. I could see Ranma serving as Twilight's own grandmother after she had adopted and raised either her mother or father.

Interesting so far, I'll keep an eye on your story for a while to see what happens next.

This looks adequate and even good. Considering how many stories of yours that have been fine only for you to abandon will wait till it is finished before reading any further then the first chapter. Considering your record that will not happen so will avoid the sadness of it.
