wow just found this fic today and finished reading it all in one setting. loved it so much. i esp love how the oc is not a power hungry warlord or something that most asoiaf ocs are written to be in other fics. i really like that she chose a king to follow and protect. it's quite rare that an oc fanfic does not make the oc strive to become the greatest like a king or the strongest. power fantasy is so dull.
and i love that she is not self serving. it's refreshing to see a morally and mentally strong oc. and she's not able to fix everything either. i admit sansa's death was unexpected. wonder how stannis and other lords would act with robert being the one manipulated by the witch. im hopeful that with stannis being of sound mind, his daughter will not die such a tragic death as that in got.

This is such a great story! I usually rant about foolish character choices I disagree with as I read, but Jaena’s character has proven to have such a good head on her shoulders that I have nothing to complain about, this OC is 100% admirable. Story wise I love how quickly it advances and develops (great writing btw) and I certainly hope you keep updating because you’ve got me hooked!

I'm so glad she only hatched one dragon - usually an OC just replaces a canon character which is pretty boring. That scene with Lady was so sad but really touching. I look foward to reading more.

I’m gonna be honest, I do not like Rhaegar or Lyanna for what they did. They were stupid and selfish in a time of instability. As far as I’m concerned Rhaegar abandoned his family during his father’s mad rein. Lyanna also should have known better than to run off with a married man, she and Rhaegar are the reason her father and brother died as well as his wife and children. That being said, I’m glad Jon is home and knows of his origins.

Jon as Hand? Damn, I can't wait to see how that will turn out. He's got his problems, hypocrisy (definitely inherited from Rhaegar and Lyanna may they burn in the Seven Hells in the Andal Faith), ridiculous obsessions (the Eddard/ Jon Arryn inspired ones regarding things such as 'honor'), and his and Robb's shared dismissal of politics and inability to understand people's motives while also being willfully blind to the fact that there is more to everything than it seems (they consistently focus on single angles instead of the full picture which got them a lot of shit in canon).

Jon as hand is going to be hilarious. Robb's decisions show that he is still young and politically naive.
