(COMPLETE) Walking The Path - I am re-doing quite a few chapters in this fic. I want it to be a good read and to be well written. I am getting quite a bit of feedback around this. SO, a re-write beckons. Don't worry though it is not abandoned. Chapter 28 just went up, and there ends part 1 of this 3 part story.

From the start, I have wanted to present a Harry story where he is powerful and has great potential BUT is faced with challenging obstacles and powerful foes. I tried initially to position Harry as a reckless hero leaping into action without looking at consequences but as the story progresses, he's learning that he needs to think things through. I also wanted to introduce a few new characters for as Middle Earth changes so will some of the characters.

I have been developing his newborn relationship with Luna. Yes ey have moved quickly but Harry is desperate for love (consider his childhood and in my story the way he was betrayed by most of the wizarding world to a greater or lesser extent)

I have also introduced and left hanging (for now) the shadow that Tom Riddle left in Harry's mind. Yes, the remnant of Tom was driven from Harry but it's left dark echoes’ that are cropping up from time to time in the story. There will be a major 'episode' later in the story in which we see the evidence of the damage done to Harry.

(Complete) LOST - Star Trek NG/HP crossover story with a difference (I hope). This was always part one of an envisioned 3 part story. The next part is provisionally named "Heirs of Magic".

(Complete) Shattering the Mirror- A HP/X-Men crossover POST OOTP. A much darker story (I hope anyway) Harry is identified by the ministry as one of a growing number of magical mutants. Expelled, Imprisoned and then exiled from the magical word. Harry and his mutant allies form a new alliance one destined to bring down the Dark Lord. A Harry/Hannah pairing but be warned there is a gay relationship between two of the other major characters (If this is not your thing then move on).

While young Paul Atreides is just beginning his journey an emotionally scarred Harry has completed his and found that his life is still not his own. Harry will have to find a new place among the deadly intrigues of the great houses. Chapter 23 now posted. Now with new cover art by Jon Wolfe

Gods Among Us - A HP/Battlestar Galactica Crossover - Harry and Hermione crash the BSG universe. Dedicated to long-time plot hole fixer and tech guru XRaiderv1. The existing chapters have been re-edited and re-posted. Chapter 25 is now up.

The Barbarian Wizard- One of my first non-crossovers (Although that is up for debate!) I am not promising anything here about updates. We'll see what sort of reception the first chapter receives and take it from there.

In Sapphire Light - A BtVS/DC comics (Young Justice) Crossover. At the moment, it is more of a concept than a story. I've posted 8 chapters and while I have it plotted out I am thinking of some major plot revisions.

Dawn of the Tok'ra - Meet Dawn Summers, teenager, pan-dimensional key and host. Life on the Hellmouth was pretty weird but it was normality city compared to what she's facing now. 24 Chapters up at the moment.

A Hp/GoT crossover - Hmmm I like my plot lint on this BUT it feels like it's been done. Not an Uber powerful Harry story more Harry re-born into the GOT Universe.

BtVS/SG1 - a very different crossover...but truthfully a LONG way off. I need to finish some other stories first.

I am not accepting new challenges at the moment as my writing time has been curtailed by real life - I will resume work on the below stories once work and other pressures have stabilized a bit. Sorry, but life happens people.

A New Life A New World - HP/SW...This is a rewrite of an existing story that was presented to me by a reader (Long abandoned by its author) BUT someone else has beaten me to this one and has already published a rework of this story. Their fic is pretty damn good and bears some similarities with mine so I'm not sure what to do with this one. (PRETTY MUCH DEAD - there have been at least 2 versions of this by other authors that were very similar to my story outline).

Not Yet Named - BtVS/Star Trek crossover...I've jotted down a few ideas courtesy of a concept from timdraco

What do I really do?: Operations Manager for my family business and Lead Trainer at an insurance company.

I am a fan of a variety of genres (including Harry Potter, BtVS, Doctor Who, Dune, BSG, Firefly, Star Trek and SG1, X-Men & of course X-overs).

I am also an RPG fan, now feeling my way around D&D 5th edition.

I look good (ego!) because of the hard work, critique and equally brilliant work of my beta's. So please when you read a new chapter remember the input of XRaiderv1, Imperator, and Timdraco.

My dislike list is rather short. I'm not that into slash - it's just not my thing. Although I have read a few outstanding slash fics. Can't say I'm an Anime fan either (Please don't have me killed...)

Hmmm, HP/HG would be one of my fave ships BUT I'm not really a shipper per say. I just like a lot of the HP/HG fic's I've read.

Author Rant follows...

Personally, I'm getting tired of flames camouflaged as 'constructive criticism'. I freely acknowledge that I am not a professional writer. I also like to hope that I am producing stories that others may enjoy reading. Is my grammar perfect? No, it is not. Do I want to improve it? Of course, I do. Let me just speak for a moment as an adult educator, ranting abuse and mockery of someone will not encourage them nor does it make your phallic dysfunction go away.

From my perspective, if I get a bad review I read it and consider the feedback and or criticism and take it on board. If I receive something offensive, I block you from doing so again. I dislike cyberbullies, and I dislike the use of offensive terms such as retard etc. having worked with the disabled I find using their condition to insult another remarkably offensive.

That being said, I do appreciate criticism of my works (it makes them better) I just get a bit tired of some twits and their boorish opinions.

I've blocked one reviewer who made some ill-informed and offensive remarks. Sheesh, where do some people get off? I am idolizing rapists? You, sir, are a twit.

I will point out that (so far) all my fics are rated M. This was done in an attempt to be responsible. If that and my story description are not enough to deter 'kids', then I am not sure what the answer is. Oh and if you had wanted a discourse on the issue that offended you, then perhaps not blocking replies to your account would be more productive.

On that note, I've blocked a reviewer who makes the case that only grammatically perfect, literary pieces (such as the author's own works I assume) may be posted on the site...hmmm. After perusing said authors work I blocked him/her from reviewing or PM'ing me because:

A). They referred to other users as retarded for wanting to post their less than perfect works and B). The ranting twits own work was poorly written, boring and juvenile. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...sigh

I love this site, and I love that FanFic authors of all ages and abilities are moved to post their works. Do I like them all? No, of course not but that does not give me the right to demand their removal I simply don't read any further. I don't flame them, or berate and belittle them I simply move on.

Oh and to SOME members of groups that haunt the fanfiction scene, It isn't all that courageous to attack others and call it 'discussion' you steer on occasion toward cyber-bullying and no doubt drive many budding authors to hang up their quill. I'm not sure who that benefits. I am also damn sure that I'd take some of the 'feedback' I've received over the years a lot more seriously if it a) wasn't a guest review and b) said experts actual feedback was in the grammatically perfect state they demand and they had posted something more constructive than a series of toxic, trollish reviews (Say a story or two, go on, show us how you would do it!).
