This is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it! Your character voices were spot-on and the way you wove in sense impressions and details was ingenious.

Jaist Majere chapter 1 . 2/17/2014
I don't know what there is that I could possible say about this that everyone else, especially FullMentalPanic, haven't already said. But I do want to say that I love it. It is so well done. Thank you for your work. :)
FullMentalPanic chapter 1 . 12/18/2012
This was very well thought out and wonderfully illuminates all the changes that Al goes through and adjusts to once he gets his immortal shell. Even though I heartily enjoy all the science, or at least quasi-science, of Fullmetal Alchemist, what really makes it stand out and shine is it's awareness of what's beyond the physical. You touch on that aspect of it just enough to bring in that timeless power and poignancy of the transcend-ency of the soul and the spiritual. "He remembers when they were little, that sometimes Ed would have nightmares of monsters chasing him, and Mother would have to hold him until he fell back asleep. But Ed doesn't run from monsters anymore. " Spectacular bit, and I'm majorly into how it almost foreshadows what Ed eventually faces but also shows how his attitude toward it has changed. I really liked the Al's recollections of his father and how he still views his dad in this positive light despite how many problems Ed has with the guy. Al's vision of the possible future, and the fact that it will never ever happen with his body as it currently is, was subtly yet effectively and beautifully portrayed. You do a fabulous job showing what the brothers mean to each other and how hard they both work to make the load lighter for each other and the different things they both find to be guilty about. Very insight-fully written.
Guest chapter 1 . 9/14/2012

Ahhhhhhh, this is gorgeously painful. ;o; OH AL.
mokamon chapter 1 . 5/1/2011
So touching! The ability to sleep and dream is a wonderful thing - getting that taken away would be a horrible thing to endure. Poor Al, having to remember all those terrible moments at night while his brother can sleep them away...
Blue Paper Plane chapter 1 . 11/1/2009

Anyjen chapter 1 . 1/10/2009
Darn it woman! your stories are so good you make me want to stalk you, and I'm already busy stalking my other favourite authors already! Do you know how hard it can be to stalk so many people at once? *pouts*

Seriously, this was simply beautiful, in a bittersweet way. Al is one of my favourite characters, and you were able to capture what exactly it is about him that I love... he is sweet, but intense, mature, but still a little naive... and this story was... just perfect. *wipes methaphorical tear*
Legendary Chimera chapter 1 . 11/23/2008
My poor Al. I did find one error,"They'll be in sunlight, eating fruit or lying in the grass or running to Winly's."
