I agree, nice start, and I'd like to see more. I too am working on backstory for Vaati, and even though I suspect I'm taking a very different direction with mine, I'm still quite interested in your take on it.

There's minor grammar errors and some wording choices that could be improved, but overall nothing that interferes with the flow of the story. I feel so sorry for poor Vivi.

One question I do have, though-what were Vivi and her mom doing out in a storm like that at all, with Vivi so close to birthing? I'd've thought they'd have found shelter along the way, or not started out at all...surely they would have realized that the stress of travel would have hastened labor.

Hey! Very nice! It's good to know I'm not the only person working on a version of Vaati's backstory.

The writing was quite nice, and I really felt sorry for the mother. The emotions were very true, it was a good read.

Again, Another fine peice. The wind bride, I love that, now this too. You are much talented, that you most certainly are.
