Good chapter. You showed Naruto's abilities and limitations both here, and without resorting to "and then Naruto tapped into the power of the Fox and became unstoppable" in order to pull it off.

This is a very good story so far.

you're really trying to hard to make this a struggle for Naruto...why give him a soldier pill he made 2 c rank genjutsu...a mist jutsu...a couple hundred clones nd his poping pills? really man his an uzumaki big chakra reserves and his the host of the nine tails...he also has great chakra control so that means he should be able to do way more in terms of jutsus becoz of the lack of wasted chakra it's really dumb...nd there is still no fight scenes it's all short and lacking I get u wanna make him a strategic fight but some fights u can't just plan nd plan ...what will he do wen fighting a power house like kisame, or nagato no strategy will help him there his supposed to be strong training with shadow clones for years nd yet he can't even take on two Ninja's from a back wash village like rain without suffering an injury...in my opinion that girl he killed won if not for the nine tails he would be dead from poisoning and yet you're saying things like 'his already better than Itachi'...that's dumb...

I don't understand the friendship he has with Sakura nd Ino...nd putting him in the same team as shikamaru is like begging to make his secret life harder and harder really? putting him with the the most observent academy student...,that will help him keep his activities and skills hidden...(I'm being sarcastic incase u ain't notice) you should have just left the teams the same as canon...and if u ain't notice all genin teams are supposed to have a female member it's compulsory...yet u make an all guys group...

and the way I see it Sakura and Ino will not develop in that team ... Naruto only wanted team 10 becoz his friends with those two since starting the academy his nerfed for someone whose been trained by two captain level anbu...but it's your story I was just stating what I found annoying...it started dope though but I'm done reading...

I know it’s been 7 years, and you probably won’t pick this up again, but I really like your writing and hope one day, maybe this story could be finished.

This chapter and the one before it have ruined your story. I don't want to say much because it could be taken as a flaming but there are reasons for this...

1. Anbu are elite forces. Konoha is known for teamwork and advocates it. What you describe as the meeting between Team Gamma and Naruto and Yugao, it's just not plausible. EVER!. If they did value teamwork as they projected that Team Gamma leader would be subjected to arrest and mental sessions for his idiocy and blatant hatred. This is the elite corps, the corps that ONLY the Hokage can command and receive commands from and you think that the Hokage would let him get away with such aggression?

2. In chapter 6, you mentioned that he left his Kunai... That is something that even Genin would not do and if they did the Jonin would remind them of it. Naruto being a Anbu would have that drilled into his head by his Captain. Still I can accept that you made a situation to have him "forget' that training... but later in the chapter, Hiruzen said that the enemy he left it in is the daughter of the Rain Country Daimyo. Now this is where I will call you on that bullshit. A Daimyo will NEVER let his children become shinobi that's just not what they do as Rich ass people. If they allowed their children to train as shinobi, then they would hire them form the shinobi village to COME TO THEM, Not the other way around. Clearly you only made it this way in your story to move your plot along however it was so stupid of an idea that I could not read it without commenting on it.

Damn why did you stop updating this amazing book? Such a shame. Would love to read more of it.

Really don't like the direction this has taken.

its been 8 years since i first saw this as a young teen on a netbook but for some reason i still visit this fic from time to time.
i dont know whats the point to say this but this piece of work its fenomenal and i hope that some day it gets finished. the universe the character development and subsecuent problems the divergence created are to this day one of the top 5 fics of all time i guess that finishing this would be impossible in less than a 100 chapters as it is but damn it was good while it lasted.

That was ridiculous. Naruto is an extremely well trained ANBU.. but you’re telling me it took him five minutes to take out Mizuki? Rather, you’re telling me Mizuki managed to fend off six shadow clones? One clone should have been enough to win the fight, especially if he was being his supposed ‘smart’ self and performed a sneak attack rather than openly charging. You took years of his training and just chucked it out the window.

This is a great story but I'm bummed that Naruto didn't reveal his whole identity. I'm always eager to see everyone's jaw drop at these big reveals!
