The whole conversation between KJ and C is wonderful to read. I'm glad she broke down and really apologized for telling him to recycle the watch. It seems like a serious apology now and then between these two, especially from her to him, could really maintain their relationship longer than they could manage to stay friends otherwise. I also like the idea that they would be comfortable sleeping in each others' arms, whether they're actually in a romantic relationship or not. They have so many kinds of love between them, it almost (but not quite) doesn't matter whether they're a romantic couple or not. I think that's what makes many of your stories so fascinating.

Liked this Turbolift story filtered through B'Elanna's eyes (or ears)

That was beautiful. And romantic. I always hated the fact that she didn't accept the watch and am very glad to see her regret that in your version. I loved the humour in it, too. And the fact that B'Elanna narrates this, adds another layer to the story.

Sweet and sad at the same time. That's really well done!

What a sweet J/C moment, and I love that we find out about through an outside observer. Also, the use of the inoperable turbolift as an 'oasis' is very clever.

The characters are great, and normally I'm not one for first-person in fanfic but it worked.

Yay! Another Mizvoy story! Sorry this is a few days late, I've been trying to keep up with everyone... This was utterly heartwarming. Insightful. It's almost light, in spite of the dark setting of the Krenim attacks, and it's stellar. B'Elanna's point of view, especially with regard to Chakotay and what his actions really mean, are wonderful. JC is beautifully done, without being overstated and heavy on gritty detail... *Sigh*. Miz, is there ANYTHING I can say about your work that you haven't already heard before - a hundred times? Somehow, I doubt it. It's always worth the read, no matter what. The characters are always accurate, the story/premise clearly well thought out, and your execution is nearly always flawless... would you just write a bad one, for once? Just once? So the rest of us can feel human by comparison? No? Didn't think so...
