Iruka has been quite teh minx and Kakashi so terribly innocent and bashful. I love it. Completely threw me off with the stone, but it technically is a stone with a hole in it. Beautiful end to a wonderful story. I'm glad that you went back and finished this piece. I really should get back to my own as well. It's been a few years for me too. Congradulation on having a baby by the way.

The long awaited scene. I honestly thought it was going to be in the afterglow that Kakashi would realize it. Having Tsunade sit his ass down in her office to reflect on it was a beautiful touch. Pakkun ended the chapter wonderfully.

This chapter was so cute. Especially when they had another misunderstanding and Iruka pulling Kakashi back into the bedroom threateningly.

The angst and self harm in the last bit had a lot more feels than I expected. As I read, I assumed it was because of the fox attack. That had hurt a lot more. Very well written. A single cut to express all his grief said a lot more than if he decided to regularly cut himself. (I also read the last couple chapters all this morning. I was on my phone and don't like the mobile interface to post reviews).

The new chapters are very much appreciated. I think since the date they had with the "terrible" apple pancakes Kakashi turned from innocent puppy that can kill you to functional human adult that can regret the actions of killing. It's an interesting character development because once you realize it, it just kinda hits you in the face.

My favorite bit was when Kakashi rolled Iruka into a bed-sushi to take everything home. How was Cookie brought back home? Was he in the box?

I'm very glad I decided to reread this story. Because this chapter certainly wasn't there before. Last I remember of the story was Raido having an early birthday gift. I didn't really realize it in the last chapter, but that wasn't there before either. I'm so happy that there's more to this story and I hope that it's completed too. Thank you for continuing it.

Thank you for finishing this story! I read it a long time ago and the update was a nice surprise. Your Kakashi here was endearing, so vulnerable, and trying so hard to move past his detachment of "normal" human emotions and to be the right person for Iruka. I liked how he slowly and willingly learns all those things that come naturally to other people. He's trying so hard! Iruka's patience and skill to guide him is amazing. No wonder he's a teacher.
I enjoyed the angsty bits, poor Kakashi with his tragic past. It's satisfying to see him finally find happiness with Iruka.
