Reno is such a cutie especially around Rufus... and he can be such a whore too! This story is funny... ( i like Reno in here a lot)...funny and great... great but sick! I can't tell whether i like it or hate it... yeah, seriously... must be the sexual things i guess...

anyway, great story! shame that it was on hiatus... I'm kind of curious on what's happening to Rufus... it pains me to see him that way...

I really loved this story and I loved how well of a job you with keeping Reno in character, far too many people make him out to be a fool that exists purely for comic relief. Your grammar was flawless as far as I can tell and your writing style is unique and dramatic. It really pulls the reader into the story. It's a shame that it is on permanent hiatus, but I understand that sometimes stories just don't work out. Congratulations on your anniversary and I wish you many more years of happiness.

Wow, I've been waiting for this for so long that I had to read the last two chapters again to get the best out of this one - or "had to", because I rather enjoyed doing it. :D I don't read too much FFVII stuff anymore, but this was and still is one of my absolute favorites!

I gotta say, I love your Reno, his accent and his musings. There's something truly genuine and authentic about him, unlike in any other fic I've read - though I'm not sure how you keep up with his wounds. XD Without the potions and stuff every now and then, he'd probably be just a pile of bloody mess by now.

Actually, I really like the way you've portrayed all of the characters, partly because they work so well in this story and partly because they just fit my idea of them almost perfectly. Especially Cloud is great, not the sniveling brat he's often written as. And of course, a sneaky Rufus keeping both poor Reno and the reader in the dark is always good...

And of course, then there's the awesome plot - for once, the plot is the most important thing, not the relationships between Reno and the rest of the cast.

Keep up the good work! I hope your inspiration is back for good, and it'll take a little less time to get the next chap out. :D

I liked a lot of the introspection on Reno's part, especially all the parts where he's exasperated that no one thinks he cares about anything/one. Also liked the story about his first kill that he didn't really want to make.

Wow i'm utterly amazed! It's so rare to find Reno-centric stories,and even rarer to find really good Reno-centric stories! I'm loving The Long Road so very much! You have managed to keep Reno perfectly in character. All of the plot elements and the way the characters react to each other are so accurate they could be passed off as being almost official! 3 Thank you so much for a fantastic story! My favorite parts all seem to be the interactions between Reno and Vincent so i'm hoping to read more of that in the future! Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work. Hey, looks like you've updated! It's too bad that apparently a glitch from made it seem that you didn't, because this new chapter deserves as much attention as the others. I really like where this story is going. You manage to make Reno to be both the bastard from the games and the slightly more human, goofy version of him from AC.

Also, can't wait to see what happens to Rufus next. Keep on going, I hope your other readers realize that there's another chapter to your awesome story 3
