Yeah I think you should add another chapter to this especially where it left off. Loved Pen's reaction to the look that Derek gave her after his statement about how he said 'You have boyfriends when you're in high school...I'm her lover' when one of the "Barbie's" asked him if he was Pen's boyfriend. So she knew at that moment that he was going to make his reply a reality. Also loved how he told Pen that he didn't want to be rejected by her a second time so he came to surprise her and tell her; that seeing her when she was with Kevin was killing him and that he'd never been so jealous in his life; that he's in love with her and he only wants to be the only man in her life. Yeah again I think you should continue this story...its too good to stop here.

“So… you are Penelope’s… boyfriend?” Erica asked innocently.

Derek chuckled. “No.”

Okay, that was the moment to burst into tears because that was definitely even more humiliating than it could ever have become without Derek showing up and telling them that he was just here because Penelope didn’t have someone else. But fortunately she managed to smile – and Derek surprised her with what he said next.

“You have boyfriends when you are in high school.” he smiled and turned to Penelope. “I’m her lover.”

The butterflies in her stomach suddenly multiplied and she felt like she was going to faint any second. Of course, this was a lie. But from the look in his eyes Penelope could tell that Derek was absolutely planning to make it become the truth tonight.

“Grateful?” he burst out. “Listen, Penelope! I asked you out, you blew me off and I backed off. That was a mistake. Seeing you with Kevin was pure torture. I’ve never been so jealous in my life. I just can’t stand seeing you with someone else because I want to be the only man in your life. And I came here to tell you that I’m happy I got a second chance and that I won’t back off this time – and I figured that if I’d asked beforehand you would have blown me off again.” he said honestly and looked deep into her eyes.

Oh wow! Can I just tell you how much I absolutely loved this story? Can we get a second chapter to this one, that continues right where this leaves off? ;)

Anyway, I loved the concept of it. Would it be great if we could all take someone that gorgeous and amazing back to our high school reunions to show all those people who ignored us?

I loved how Derek comes back at those stupid girls who were being so mean to Penelope, "You have boyfriends when you are in high school." he smiled and turned to Penelope. "I'm her lover." That section was hilarious, and very hot, at the same time. And I could totally see it happening.

I really really liked it. ANd I loved at the end when he's explaining why he came, and how he wants to be the only man in her life, and he didn't ask because he was afraid of being turned down again. This was sweetly romantic, and sexy too, but it also had enough playful friendship in it to stay believable as well, which is hard to do, I think. Anyway, great job, one of my favorites I think!
