Man, this made me cry...a lot. It’s beautifully written and I felt completely lost in the story. Thank you for writing and sharing it!

Started to read this fanfiction out of boredom in the evening, ended up heavily crying throughout the whole last two chapters at 3 am in the morning. Somehow I tend to forget that Tonks/Remus fanfictions never end happy, ah goddammit.
Just wanted to say thank you for this great piece of art, all of this was so perfect, especially this flashback in the very end, which even made me cry more. I'm a mess now, take that as a compliment.

I can't tell you how many times I've read this piece and each time that I do, I become a sobbing mess. This work of art was one of the first Remadora fics I've read and it's one of the best ones out there. It truly brings out the tragic, beautiful, and short-lived story of Remus and Tonks that is untold and overshadowed by other events in the books. Amazing work.

I've read a lot of Remadora fics in my time but this is one of my favourites! (And the only fanfic ever that's made me cry...!)

I just cried super hard at this. Thank you for filling in the scenes that were missing from the story. I'm glad they experienced a feeling of happiness before departing.

This is such an amazing, lovely piece of writing. I was always so frustrated with how little JKR wrote about them, despite the fact that the glimpses we saw set up what was potentially one of the most moving and wonderful love stories in the book. But you filled it out, to perfection. I laughed, I cried, and my heart ached in earnest. It's difficult to find great writing, and great writing about my favorite characters, even, but here it is. Thank you for this.

I know this is an older story but I've only just come across it - I haven't had the heart to read many Tonks/Remus stories because I hate the fact that they died. Having said that, I think this is such a beautiful telling of their relationship which we miss almost entirely in the books, which itself is a crime against literature! You have managed to capture their love story so perfectly, as well as each of their characters - Tonks' unswerving devotion to the troubled man she loved and Remus' sometimes misguided nobility - this reads every bit as good as canon. I loved every interaction between the pair, of course, but the two parts that really stick in my mind are Andromeda's telling-off of Remus after he returned to Tonks when she was pregnant - every word she said rang so true, and his reaction to it was just perfect - and the funeral. I bawled my eyes out for the final two chapters even while greedily taking in every word of them, unable to stop reading even though their deaths make me physically hurt inside. A wonderful addition to the stories we know and love so well. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Whew now that I got that out, I wanted to thank you for this story. I've always had a soft spot for Remus Lupin and Tonks' story. You brought it to life and basically eased my woes. This was beautifully written! You got the characters down perfectly and the emotion in your words was incredible! If you have more stories I'll continue to read

I told myself I didn't want to read the end. I could've stopped at the chapter before and lived in bliss. But I love this story so much that I am indebted to finish it. You're such an excellent writer
