 Author has written 1 story for Criminal Minds. 27 June 2010 Update: Thought I'd better update my profile in honour of my beautiful daughter who was born five weeks ago - I couldn't leave it any longer saying that I'm expecting in May, seeing as we're now at the end of June, LOL! We named her Rose, after her grandmother (my mother-in-law) who sadly passed away a few years ago, and she's just the most adorable little thing your ever saw (okay I'm biased but it's still true!!!!) Consequently, however, there's been so much going on in RL that I haven't had time or been in the right mindset to continue The Pace of Nature for which I apologise profusely. I will definitely be finishing it - in fact, I have a lot of it already written but there are gaps that need filling in and parts that need refining before I can post any more and I don't want to give you guys substandard work! Rest assured that I will get to it soon, though, and thanks for your patience. Hi, I'm 31 years old, married and expecting our first baby in May. I've always loved reading and over the years have started to write loads of stories that have just never got finished. I figured posting them here might be a way to actually force myself to finish something! TV I love includes Criminal Minds, CSI (mainly Vegas and Miami - for some reason I never really got into NY), Fringe, Lie to Me, Star Trek: TNG (yes, I freely and proudly admit to my geekdom!) and True Blood, among others. I've been reading fantasy (as in sword and sorcery) since I was about ten and that genre is my true love when it comes to books but also love classics like Jane Austen's novels and the Sherlock Holmes stories, etc (yes, I have read them all and no, I do not subscribe to any ideas of Holmes and Watson being gay. Honestly, read them and you'll see that Holmes' sexuality is simply not even on the radar in any form - he's Asexual if anything! Sorry, will get off my soap box now, LOL!). I'm also a huge fan of LOTR (films and book), Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries, Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe novels (plus the TV adaps - who could possibly resist Sean Bean in full Sharpe mode?) and lots more. |
