Giggles! Loved the staffroom-normalcy-but-not-so. "I have a class to teach", the equivalent of Snape asking "where's my cloak", and Minerva responding helpfully... :D

I'm sure allowing the first-year student to play Quidditch has nothing to do with playing favorites. :)

Brilliant! (I just want to give Snape a big hug though- he's hiding this terrible thing he has to do, and with every encounter he knows that soon they will be out to kill him...)
