Reviews for Three Days
Shahrezad1 chapter 1 . 5/26/2014
I know that this is an old one, but...this is just AMAZINGLY well-written. The anxiety of it all as grief finally pulls her under is so incredibly...real. That's all I can say, that her grief is real. As real as the taste of blood on your tongue. And Neville was the perfect balance of awkward schoolboy and empathetic veteran. Brilliant work, truly. And the details were gorgeous. 3

BatKate chapter 1 . 7/15/2013
Very good! My favorite moment was when she names off all the heroic triumphs of Neville Longbottom and then point out when he just offered. :)
GwenCThompson chapter 1 . 5/3/2013
This was beautiful!
xLostInTheSun chapter 1 . 1/15/2013
Oh wow.

I think you'll like the story "The Long Walk Home" by JaWorley. It can be found on potionsandsnitches. net

I also think you might like the story "The Heir of Magic" by DisobedienceWriter.

I loved this story, just as I loved 2 May, 1998 and Cauterized.
Maran Zelde chapter 1 . 2/9/2012
I love the line about Hannah wanting to bury the dark spells recorded inside her wand.

Hannah’s outrage at the roses seems odd to me, because I probably would have just crumpled up and wept. But people deal with grief in different ways.

I love how Neville helped her piece her life back together and basically gave her a new family. This ficlet brings a lot of depth to their relationship.
steepedinwords chapter 1 . 1/26/2012
My favourite lines:

'she can fix the ruin, rebuild walls and scrub up blood and carbon burn from the flagstones, but she can't fill this perfectly sound house all by herself.'

'Hannah has stained the grey wool and white cotton of the uniform too many times; even clean, it feels like a canvas waiting to be painted with blood and hardship.'
wandering endlessly chapter 1 . 1/2/2012
Your stories are all gorgeous, you know that? Ugh I'm terribly jealous of your writing abilities. This was written perfectly, Hannah and Neville are so sweet :)
NothingPretentious chapter 1 . 8/30/2011
This is some of the highest-calibre fanfiction I've ever read. Thank you.
Abandoned Account1111111111111 chapter 1 . 8/20/2011
Yes, I did just cry. (Yes, I must be an emotionally unstable child. Of course.) That was so TOUCHING. It harbored such emotion there, showed the real feelings behind the students. Depression. Loss. Denial. Anger. And slowly but surely, renewed happiness. You did an amazing job. I am in denial over how excellent this is.
Ilovedyourficyouknow chapter 1 . 8/1/2011
Oh, how I love this couple. Neville is so sweet here, and I love you focused on hannahs loss which so many fanfic writers forget. Sweet, sweet story. But I suppose bittersweet is a better word. I also loved the bit about lavender. That was so very, very lavender like.
iamnuff chapter 1 . 5/30/2011
wow, i almost didnt get through this,

your fanfics are so painful, im glad they are only oneshots, im not sure if i could stand more than a chapter of this.

all your fics seem to focus on what has been lost, Cauterize is a prime example.

oh done get me wrong, they are INCREDIBLE. but its more than i can stand all at once, il be back tomorrow, i guess.
Analie Janes chapter 1 . 5/8/2011
Beautiful story! I loved reading about Hannah. It was great how you wrote her grief and how she's healing from her loss. And Neville is so nice. They;re perfect for each other. :)

(I just don't know what to say, and I'm sure it's not because of possible second language limitations.)
