This is well written, and short and sweet and fluffy and such. :3

But it was a little too reminiscent of Twilight. D: You did tone things down fairly well; Pai only entered her room to drop off his gift and there was no stalker-watches-you-while-you-sleep thing going on. So that's good. But there was still that EdwardxBella vibe going on.

I think Lettuce would have been a tad more shocked upon waking up and finding that an alien who's supposed to want to kill her had been in her room, but the exchange was fairly well done despite this. Also, considering Lettuce's personality, she probably would have been a bit more hesitant to believe that Pai loved her.

But despite these things it was really enjoyable (the bit that was in Pai's perspective was great :D) - especially good considering it was your first fanfic.
