I hope your friend was happy, and that you are glad with what you had with them. I'm sorry about what happened, and your aunt, but this story was brilliant. YAY YOU!

It does help doesn't it? I think so anyway. With me, it wasn't so much death as the first few years with young children and a husband with depression. I would have died if I didn't have my worlds in my head to move into, somewhere where things happened because I willed it so. I didn't write the stories down then. Probably just as well, they were very angsty worlds. (My main character to play with back in those days - and here's an admission - was Micheal from Taggart and the things I did to him were truely awful. Then along came the XFiles and Mulder, and the internet and fanfiction as such.)

I love that you write yours down because then we get to share them.

I don't cry often at fanfiction but this stirred all the ghosts of grief. I stopped 'talking to God' the night I watched my father die. This piece of writing is pure magic and I hope it helped you.
