Ianto is suppose to be at work, but he's asleep on the couch in his flat

"Nice shooting," came a voice from behind her. "Jack! I wasn't expecting you." She looked behind him "No Ianto?" Jack laughed. "We're not exactly joined at the hip, you know." "No?" She fired off three more round, then put the gun down. "Did you want something?"

it was 2am on a cold Cardiff night and Jack and Ianto had been out on a Weevil hunt. They were asleep in Jack's bed, down in his bunker, when the younger man awoke crying out. "Shh, it's okay. You're safe. I'm here, Ianto. Shh." Jack rubbed circles on the younger man's back. He kissed the top of his head and stroked away damp hair from his forehead. "Shh. It's okay now."

Ianto Jones was clearly dead, his sightless eyes opaque now. His right arm and both his legs were missing. Jack took his left hand in both of his, bringing it to his lips. Tears streaked his already damp cheeks, as he kissed the hand.

It was just after 8pm on a cold, dark November evening and Ianto Jones was feeling quite sorry for himself. Something that he rarely did. But it had been a God awful day and Ianto was glad it was over. WARNING RATED M FOR SWEARING AND FUTURE CONTENT

Ianto looked at himself in the mirror down in the locker room at the Hub. His favourite suit was ruined; the pockets were torn - buttons ripped off - one trouser leg was torn from knee to ankle. It was a mess. He sighed as the door opened, obscuring his view.

It was a dark, February night, as the four members of Torchwood Three moved carefully around the corner. There was a flash of light and a single sound of a gun of some kind, before Captain Jack Harkness hit the ground, mortally wounded. "No! Jack!" Shouted Ianto, getting off a shot of his own.

It was 2am and Ianto Jones kept his vigil in the upstairs bedroom window. He scanned the darkened street, his heart beating faster as the odd person approached, only to find it wasn't who he wanted it to be.

He's not worth it, mate,' he'd told Ianto, running a hand through his hair. 'He's gone. Get over it.' 'He'll be back, I know he will.' Ianto told him.

Gwen went home to Rhys. Toshiko to a good book and a cup of camomile tea. And Owen, well, who knows with him. Ianto Jones however, had gone for a walk. To clear his head he'd told Jack.

Ianto Jones wasn't just the Tea Boy. He wasn't just the goffa. He was Captain Jack Harkness' lover. 'Shit' thought Owen.

Everyone has their own agenda, but mine was out there for everyone to pick through, like I was on show. A freak

'What a way to spend my birthday' thought Ianto Jones, sitting down on his sofa. 'All I am to them is a goffa. A Tea Boy. Shit! Bloody Torchwood'

Ianto stood in the doorway to Jack's office and cleared his throat, getting Jack's attention. "Er hum." Jack looked up from his paperwork. Glad of the distraction, he smiled. "Ianto, and it isn't even time for coffee."

Jack and Owen go out to investigate a spike in the Rift..."Jack is that a man?" "Yep and naked as the day he was born."

Myfanwy swooped down and squawked with delight as Ianto tossed her a bar of dark chocolate.

Jack sighed, as he watch the CCTV cameras. "Oh, Ianto," he said, rubbing a hand over his face. He looked at the two bottles on his desk. "I already thought of that."

He'd told the young Welshman that he'd come back for him, then ruined it by adding 'for all of you'

"I have missed you," breathed Ianto, as he leaned against his lover. "I'm sorry it took so long." Jack kissed the younger man. "But I'll make it worth the wait."

"No, Jack," protested Ianto. "we are not doing it here!" "Come on, Ianto. Where's your sense of adventure?" "Right about now, I'd say it's up there with lifts and public toilets."

Saw him today, strolling along the boardwalk down by the Bay. Seems to be there quite a lot. I'll make a mental note of that. Also 'appears' at the Water Tower by the Millennium Centre. Bloody Torchwood!

'Down on your knees…You brought a Cyberman into my home…Execute her, or I will execute you both…' 'I clean up your shit and that's how you like it…You never once asked me about my life…I love her…You're more of a monster than anything down there…'

"Come off it, Harkness," said Owen. "You know bloody well this'll end bad." Jack sighed, feigning hurt. "No, it won't." Ianto looked at the medic and rolled his eyes. "See! Even Tea Boy agrees with me."

'Brilliant' thought Ianto. 'I'm stuck here again on my own, while they go off chasing after…whatever it is they're after today' he shook his head, looking at the state they'd left their workstations in.

Ianto looked at his hands. "You still don't trust me. I understand." "No! It's not that. I understand why you did what you did with Lisa. You loved her. I get it."

Ianto sat behind Jack's desk hand laced in his lap as he sat back and looked at the phone, then at his watch. Jack promised to call him at 8pm…it was now 8.30pm

The earth began to shake all around him, as Ianto stepped back away from the grave.

A Tookalon Warrior comes through the Rift. Ianto is left at the Hub, and against Jack's orders, kills a second Warrior...
