Ah, I loved it! Especially when you said that bit about Derek's eyes being like shards of green glass, or something- I nerded all over the place. I think you meant to say penetrating, not impenetrable, though, when describing his eyes again. On the whole, very well done and much deserved accolades!

Ah! I'm back again, and I don't know, but I might like this one even better. Which is impossible, because I love to pieces your other one.

In the end, I was pretty much thinking, "Aw, I wish this would have happened instead of more denial of their feelings." So, so cute.

I read all 3 Darkest Powers books yesterday (after finishing the first, then having to walk into town to buy the others!) and there are soooo many moments with Chlerek where they could have had those stomach-clenching, mesmerised-eyes moments and fierce kisses.

So thank you for writing this! I was thinking what should have happened in that bathroom! I'd definitely help the wounded warrior clean himself up! :P
