Yay! This was great! It was funny while not being crack and it stayed very true to their characters and their perfect friendship! I loved Sherlock's vehement declaration: "I like you!"

This is sooo bloody fantastic and amazing and wonderful!

There were a number of errors ("Sherlock he asked," "stunned to silence," "it suits be better," "tax payer's money," "was it John." etc.), but they were possible to overlook. I loved the humorous back and forth between Sherlock and John, particularly regarding Sherlock's unusual obliviousness ("She's writing, why is she writing? Is that bad?," the moment wherein he tries to cover up that he's noticed Sophie has father issues). The shift into serious discussion seemed natural, and the occasional forays back into humor were in keeping with the tone of the show.

Very funny! Excellent command of the characters' speech patterns. Witty dialogue. I did feel this was the Sherlock we know from Benedict Cumberbatch. Your writing did instill the sense of his voice, diction, level of intelligence, and tone.

You have completely captured the characters in this vignette. Speech patterns, tone, diction, mannerisms sound mostly as though they could have been written by one of the show's script writers. Best of all, you have recreated the conversational spark and wit and surprises of Sherlock. This is almost the only Sherlock fan fic in which I feel I am carried along by Benedict Cumberbatch's voice, a very difficult task to perform on paper. Can't wait to read the rest of your Sherlock selections.

First reading I was laughing quite hard with their childish bickering, then about mid way through my smile left and turned serious. Really serious. Everything you wrote about them was true. Feelings, thoughts, expressions of emotion, they were all suited to how their characterisation was built. By the end everything has returned cheerful again.
Sophie is one strong lady to handle an unhappy Sherlock and John and turn them into civil mostly nice people by the end of it.
