Saturn23 chapter 1 . 2/7/2019
Hi! I have just read your story, and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. But more than that... I have been a fan of Trek since the beginning, when TOS was the only Trek we had, and fanzines had to be ordered by mail. I have read some K/S over the years, and while I enjoyed many of the stories, I was never entirely convinced. But your story did it. It fits the canon storyline perfectly, and you wrote the characters so very believably. I completely believe this is how it could have happened. Thank you for a lovely story!
Owyheewinds chapter 1 . 5/20/2017
I really enjoyed this! It took a while to break Kirk out of his thick shell, and I loved that McCoy took their bull by the horns. I am grateful-I guess that is the word, as I was invested very quickly in your characterizations of our favorite characters-that Spock acquiesced to McCoy's insights, and acted on them. The bond re-knitting itself makes total sense, thus their coming together all the more organic (oh so many puns to exploit there, but.) I liked how Sarek bluntly asked Kirk in the air car was he going to bond with Spock. Very good. Would love to see more, this fic was begging to flesh out further.

C A Mallett chapter 1 . 9/20/2015
I enjoyed your story. It was a delightful expression on Ponn Farr and their joining. And I enjoyed your involvement of Sarek and Amanda. It was so much more than the standard view of Vulcans. I was sorry it had ended.
Snakequeen-in-Norway chapter 1 . 2/28/2015
I really enjoyed that :)
Captain Pi chapter 1 . 12/30/2014
OMG! This story had me screaming with angst/frustration, laughing/howling, crying, yikes... The gamut of emotions. I liked Amanda's portrayal, very dead-on, spot-on. She is no joke! Sarek, he is a little scary, formidable, and can see through just about anything, at a glance. Anyway, great story. I'm going to bookmark it for a good time pick-me-upper.
WeirdLittleStories chapter 1 . 8/12/2014
That was lovely - sweet without being saccharine. Great job!
Captain Pi chapter 1 . 6/18/2014
I've wept through this entire story. It's so beautifully written, emotional, compassionate, natural, and just plain old dead-on, spot-on, realistically true-to-form. I'm still crying. I love Amanda's candor, she is 'THE BOMB!'. All your characterizations are superb. I'm buzzing and glowing right now. I'm going to bookmark this and share this with my diehard Trek fanboys/fangirls. Thanks for sharing.
Sheena Wilde chapter 1 . 3/6/2014
Oh my god, this was beautiful. I'm not usually touched by family matters but this story was just simply beautiful and moving.
