Oh heavens, I love this fic so much, I've read it twice now and will definitely read it again. I would love to see it continued, there's so much potential here, and what you have already is absolutely fantastic. Breathtaking. It's so GOOD!

An interesting situation you got here. It is rare that Autobots and Decepticons get a common enemy strong enough to threaten them seriously and force them to work together. I'm looking forward to find out what could have caused such a strong wind and sandstorm - and what happened to the rest of them.

Yaey I've been waiting for this one to update for a while.

I like the cast of characters you've chosen to focus on. All of the present Decepticons are level-headed enough to work with the Autobots without too much trouble. Similarly the most troublesome Autobot is Sunstreaker, and with Sideswipe nearby he is kept in check. I know the characters wish differently, but this may be the best group of mechs to handle this problem.

So! Hopefully being back at the Autobot base can shed some light on what's going on, at least with the outside world. I noticed that Bluestreak was saying something about the humans. I assume that they are either missing as well or perhaps unconscious? I also assume that Sparkplug was spared thanks to being in the Autobot base behind the shield.

Can't wait for the next one.

I really like the way how you are keeping the Decepticons in character while still showing their obvious friendships and bonds. It is done very well, and the team up between the two factions is also awesome. Thanks!

I think you just solved your large cast problem. If we're going with those of a low build and the Decepticons attached to them, that leaves us with the twins, Thundercracker, Soundwave, Reflector, and Jazz. And I have to say, I kind of like Starscream's crazed attack there at the end.

If, you know, Jazz or Sunstreaker don't get picked off. While I expect that at some point Sideswipe is going to have to face this on his own, he certainly can't figure it out by himself so early.

Upon watching the linked video, I now understand how you could come up with this idea, and why you picked sides as your protagonist. That is a seriously awesome advert.

How did I miss this one?

First and foremost, I must say that I love it when two opposing factions must work together towards a common goal. I don't know, something about the mutual distrust and cooperation always seems much more... intense? Interesting? Always fun to see how personalities clash and meld and play off of one another.

I have to wonder if you're going to be trying to re-mesh this fic with the existing plotline (as in, at the end everything goes back to normal), or if you're going off on a complete tangent here. Not-so-secretly I'm hoping for the second option, as it would allow you to take the character development much further without the fetters of the show to hold you back.

I can understand why you chose such an early point in the cartoon to start with. Much more manageable amount of characters, and it seems like this plot will be using everyone.

Well, then! There's something controlling that storm, and I can't wait to find out what it is.
