That was awesome. I love the combination of sex scenes and the relationship between Mulder and Scully.

Oh. My. God. I know you wrote this ages ago but I can't leave this unreviewed - I enjoyed it too much! This was the funniest, cutest, sweetest, sexiest X-Files fanfiction I have yet read. I liked 'Dreamland' and, like another reviewer said, I remember thinking it would have been funnier and more interesting to have Mulder and Scully swap bodies and deal with that. You did an awesome job! The first chapter didn't really hook me but once you had them in each other's bodies, they were HILARIOUS! Mulder's dialogue, I have often though, must be hard to write, but you did a valiant job, and your Scully-Mulder dynamic - them in the car driving back to where it all started, them thinking of each other, them at breakfast - was so in-character. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I loved this!

I don't know about you, but the most satisfying reviews for me are when readers tell me the specifics of what they liked. Favourite scenes, favourite lines. You had SO many great lines, I can't even remember them all. I just read the whole thing at once and couldn't slow myself down. The most memorable parts for me were as follows:

*Scully and Mulder having to go to the toilet in each other's bodies. I expected Scully to be more squeamish so her forthright approach was funny in its unexpectedness, but Mulder's mortified reaction to having to pee as Scully and use toilet paper still has me grinning. This was one of the issues I had imagined would need dealing with if 'Dreamland' had gone in this direction, but your take was much funnier than I had anticipated. Well done.

*Scully kissing Mulder's reflection. That was so schoolgirl, so innocent, among all the other adult stuff. I loved her for that. I love the shyness, and this depiction of her wanting to kiss him, see him looking back at her with love and affection and want, and to do sweet childish things like hold his hand and be near him, was just gorgeous.

*Holding hands in the car. So them. And Scully noticing that Mulder sucks at choosing make-up but spared his feelings until later.

*Mulder's ancient Mayan spiel. So Mulder, barrelling on about something seemingly off-topic but trying to say something meaningful.

*The sex.

*Their appreciation of each other's bodies and reactions while they were swapped. That was very satisfying, while Mulder's realisations of the woes of being female - toilet issues, bra hooks, stockings, skirts - were satisfying in a whole other way. Great work.

*Mulder's lines to non-present Scully. "Oh, Scully, what you do to me," and "The next time I make love to your body I want you to be in it," stand out. I'm a sucker for MSR, what can I say?

All in all I think you are wonderful and that you deserve all the praise in the world, and I would say more about how great your writing is but I think I'll just put my money where my mouth is and go and buy your book. Congrats on publishing your work. It's a fantastic feeling :)

Great story loved it

I loved 'dreamland' but I remember thinking it would be funnier if they switched Mulder/Scully rather than Mulder/Morris and how they would cope with it. Love this story well written and funny wish you could have carried it on for longer - would have been really funny to have them trying to work in the office together for a day or two before they returned to themselves for example trying to act like each other in front of Skinner or Maggie Scully - maybe have Mulder (in Scully's body) having to do an autopsy with Skinner watching! However I am feeling a little hot under the collar right now - think I might go and have a cold shower x
