Wow, this made me laugh and smile and feel bright and warm (I have been sick, which is why I am ripping through fanfiction to begin with)

Gwen is exactly the sort of person right for Corin, it's funny I had a friend in high school who had one green eye and one blue eye, she was beautiful and every girl there wanted her "cool" eyes.

The dialogue was amazing (did I mention that I love your Corin to death) and I nearly jumped when he and Colin came in together because I had a hunch about where that was going.

Cor and Aravis were tip-top too and I like how you tipped your hat to Lewis' "more dangerous swordsmen".

And it had a perfect ending, fantasitical and believable at once.

I started reading it despite the description I think, I was in a weird mood and I was stuck as soon as the king said that "it [her beauty] eluded everyone else as well" I am paraphrasing. Please write more of this sort, I love the Narnia/Archenland interactions

MADE ME LAUGH SOOOO HARD! LOL Doesn't look like Corin has grown up much after all. Even Colin seems more sensible than him. Hehe, you know what he said about princes in THAHB though... Love it.

"The Queen thoughtfully rolled her crown across the floor..." LOLOLOL I'm already loving that King and Queen! And Gwendolyn seems like such a dear! Haha Cor look out! They're coming for you! ALthough at "twenty-five and quite unattached" (lol sounds like the way some people view my dear oldest sister who is NOT married, match-makers pfah!), You would think Cor would be quite sensible. But we shall see.

I adore your writing style - it is so original! This is my favorite example: "He let his words sink in. They sank." Aside from being hilarious, that phrase is just so fresh and so cleanly, creatively written, just like the rest of the story. Great job.

So I came across this fic in a community and just had to dive into it at once after seeing your spectacular summary. Then I read the first chapter and almost didn't go on, because I cannot abide mistaken-identity or "comedy of errors" types of stories (I've been told I empathize with the characters too much to find it funny), but I skimmed ahead a bit, remembered how much I enjoyed TIoBE, and decided to give it a shot. I read the whole thing in an hour or so, and it was great. Corin and Gwendolyn look like they'll make a good match—it's nice to see a well-done Corin fic that pairs him off with someone other than Lucy or Susan, too—and it was honestly very funny (Corin's exchange with the king and queen at the end was downright hysterical; I'm still laughing at the thought of poor Cor having been named "doof"). My only complaints are that Aravis seemed a bit OOC to me, a little informal sometimes (especially considering she's in her 20s, though I suppose she's probably loosened up a bit since moving from Calormen to Archenland), and the whole story seemed very rushed. Like I could almost believe the whole thing took place inside of a week or two, when that's much too short a time frame for the character arcs. That said, I really did enjoy it. The idea and execution, aside from pacing, were excellent. I much enjoyed all the vivid description. Quite a lovely read!
