Author has written 2 stories for Three Stooges, and Lord of the Rings. LOTR FOREVER I write novels. Getting an abortion is murdering someone who never got to live. Don't end a life, save one. If you hate abortion, copy and paste this into your profile. I'm a Christian and proud of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Acknowledge your Savior. I support state's rights, localism, and community. Be a Berean [Read Acts of the Apostles if confuzzled]. homosexual sex is wrong; it's a sin against God, and one that should be rewarded with death. This does NOT mean i condone the murder of homosexuals and all the others of depraved sexuality including fornicators and adulterers. What it does mean is that i beleive the judicial system of the state should reward such crimes as the Bible prescribes in the Pentateuch. Transexuality, asexuality, bisexuality, and their ilk are phantoms of ill- informed and evil- sickened minds. They are not real. God created man and woman; man and woman we remain. We're all horrible sinners, in need of God. Our best deeds are dirty rags with a side of filth. The only thing I have that many don't is Christ, my Savior and Lord. He's the only one that could ever merit heaven on His own, but He took my sins upon Himself and clothed me in His righteousness. Before that, I was dead in my tresspasses, like everybody else who hasn't been given life by Him. Praise the Lord. I want to proclaim Christ to others but i'm not sure how to outside of writing and so on. If you're wondering why i haven't favorited much LOTR work or read it, it's because i love LOTR so much that just about nothing can ever match up to it or equal it. Therefore i mainly read humor or parodies/ attacks on Mary Sues/ Self Inserts (Thus Official Fanfiction University of Middleearth [i beleive Middle Earth is the correct spelling] and Never Leave Fanfiction Lying Around). I do support Trump, but mainly as a least of practical evils. Reaction to Flames: Read, glean for good criticism, ignore thereafter. One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes.. TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yes. TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky. TOMMY: Okay (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky. TEACHER: Did you see God up there? TOMMY: No. TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. Possibly he just doesn't exist. A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions. The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree outside? TOMMY: Yes. LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky? TOMMY: Yessssss! LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher? FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT' II CORINTHIANS 5:7 When I say that 'I am a Christian', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living.' "Words are for reals."~ N. D. Wilson "Aye I'll condemn anythign that leaves the task of holding England for Richard to outlaws like me."~ Robin Hood "Sometimes standing up against evil is more important than defeating it. The greatest heroes stand because it is right to do so, not because they believe they will walk away with their lives. Such selfless courage is victory in itself."~ N.D. Wilson “You fainted,' Tom said. Reg coughed. No, I didn't,' he said. 'Women faint. People afraid of needles faint. Men black out.” ~ N.D. Wilson “Imagine a poem written with such enormous three-dimensional words that we had to invent a smaller word to reference each of the big ones; that we had to rewrite the whole thing in shorthand, smashing it into two dimensions, just to talk about it. Or don’t imagine it. Look outside. Human language is our attempt at navigating God’s language; it is us running between the lines of His epic, climbing on the vowels and building houses out of the consonants.” ~ N.D. Wilson “Cowards live for the sake of living, but for heroes, life is a weapon, a thing to be spent, a gift to be given to the weak and the lost and the weary, even to the foolish and the cowardly.” ~ N.D. Wilson “Writer's block — so what? Write something bad. Just throw it in the trash can when you're done, you're always improving. That kind of writing is like doing a bunch of push-ups. Every individual push-up is not the important thing. On Tuesday you're going to think, "Is it really important that I do it today?" No, but the collective impact is. If you write every day, you will improve.” ~ N.D. Wilson “That wasn't me. I'm not a morning person. There's another person inside of me that does all the morning things.”~ N.D. Wilson through Cyrus Smith “Drink your wine. Laugh from your gut. Burden your moments with thankfulness. Be as empty as you can be when that clock winds down. Spend your life. And if time is a river, may you leave a wake.” ~ N.D. Wilson “All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Never laugh at live dragons.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Deserves it! I daresay he does. Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisioned by the enemy, don't we consider it his duty to escape?. . .If we value the freedom of mind and soul, if we're partisans of liberty, then it's our plain duty to escape, and to take as many people with us as we can!”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men, doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate And though I oft have passed them by A day will come at last when I Shall take the hidden paths that run West of the Moon, East of the Sun.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “I am glad you are here with me. Here at the end of all things, Sam.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Courage is found in unlikely places.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “It's the job that's never started as takes longest to finish.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “What do you fear, lady?" [Aragorn] asked. "A cage," [Éowyn] said. "To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Ho! Ho! Ho! To the bottle I go To heal my heart and drown my woe Rain may fall, and wind may blow And many miles be still to go But under a tall tree will I lie And let the clouds go sailing by” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “A man that flies from his fear may find that he has only taken a short cut to meet it.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “It does not do to leave a live dragon out of your calculations, if you live near him.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “You can only come to the morning through the shadows.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “We have come from God, and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they contain error, will also reflect a splintered fragment of the true light, the eternal truth that is with God. Indeed only by myth-making, only by becoming 'sub-creator' and inventing stories, can Man aspire to the state of perfection that he knew before the Fall. Our myths may be misguided, but they steer however shakily towards the true harbour, while materialistic 'progress' leads only to a yawning abyss and the Iron Crown of the power of evil.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Where there's life there's hope.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “So comes snow after fire, and even dragons have their endings.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “I have claimed that Escape is one of the main functions of fairy-stories, and since I do not disapprove of them, it is plain that I do not accept the tone of scorn or pity with which 'Escape' is now so often used. Why should a man be scorned if, finding himself in prison, he tries to get out and go home? Or if he cannot do so, he thinks and talks about other topics than jailers and prison-walls?”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Where did you go to, if I may ask?' said Thorin to Gandalf as they rode along. To look ahead,' said he. And what brought you back in the nick of time?' Looking behind,' said he.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Short cuts make long delays.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “But I have been too deeply hurt, Sam. I tried to save the Shire, and it has been saved, but not for me. It must often be so, Sam, when things are in danger: some one has to give them up, lose them, so that others may keep them.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “In this hour, I do not believe that any darkness will endure.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien “The wide world is all about you: you can fence yourselves in, but you cannot for ever fence it out.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. ” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “The world is full enough of hurts and mischances without wars to multiply them.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom.” ~ J.R.R.Tolkien “It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow. Even darkness must pass.”~ J.R.R.Tolkien "We come, we come with roll of drum: ta-runda runda runda rom! We come, we come with horn and drum: ta-rūna rūna rūna rom! To Isengard! Though Isengard be ringed and barred with doors of stone; Though Isengard be strong and hard, as cold as stone and bare as bone, We go, we go, we go to war, to hew the stone and break the door; For bole and bough are burning now, the furnace roars - we go to war! To land of gloom with tramp of doom, with roll of drum, we come, we come; To Isengard with doom we come! With doom we come, with doom we come!" ~ J.R.R.Tolkien OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. i've given one flame that i remember; it was for a fic that glorified incest now i've given several more. what kind of person has a fic that features words related to body waste and crude sex than the name of its 6year old protag???? The Nicene Creed With modifications and additions by me I believe in one eternal God, the Father Almighty, through the word of His power, Maker of heaven and earth, through the word of His power, making all of creation, soul and matter, fully- formed in goodness and perfection in the very beginning, although it was to be corrupted by the sin of Adam, soul and matter, to creation's very root and without exception, and of all things visible and invisible, though he himself is unmixed soul, having no created or uncreated body, immutable and controlling all by His power without aid or collaboration of man according to His unchangeable ordering which was established before the creation of the world, giving His creations, including men, no path by which they might stray outside of His plan, but using them as His secondary agents to reach His ends, letting them sin but never responsible for their sin, Himself timeless and knowing all, past, present, future, and any other time as well as things which are timeless. And in our incarnate Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, very Man of very Man, for what he was not he could not justify and sanctify, yet not sinful or mutable in his nature, his two natures without confusion, without separation, distinct and united; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, him by whom all things were made. Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy soul of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried. He descended into hell; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. I believe in the holy Trinity, the union of the distinct Father, the distinct Son, and the distinct Holy Ghost, one God, not divided, not mixed, distinct and united, being three persons in one Godhead, neither three manifestations, emanations, metaphors, or similes of a homogeneous god, nor three separate gods under one name. And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; I believe in the infallibility of the Holy Scripture and I look for the resurrection of the dead, when we, those who have been chosen before time by the Trinity without our own aide and for no other reason than his own merciful justice and grace to be rescued from our own essentially sinful state by the sacrifice of Christ, something which we are ourselves were absolutely powerless to do, shall be lifted up to heaven, to praise God forever in perfection, but we shall not be of the same substance to the Father nor of the same nature or right, and the life of the world to come. Amen. I figured out an easy way to stop obsessing over at least part of a fandom: look up articles on how horrible a character you like is. It works like magic, if you don't mind being quite sad. Maybe because i like to think the best of most characters? Dolores Umbridge is an obvious exception. If I see Snape called "Sev" by author himself, I run, run and don't look back. Snape was on the right side for iffy reasons and he was barely a good guy, perhaps more of a villain fighting for the right side than anything else. But i haven't read the books, so i may be wrong Added to yet another fandom in which I have not read the original (well, actually, i read 1-2 chapters of the first arc), Worm. I have recently become addicted to crack... I highly recommend Path to Munchies and The Techno Queen. KRAKATHOOM. Fanfic quotes: "I can hear colors!" Angel declared, staring around himself in awe and tugging at his clothes.~ Dogbertcaroll's "Gone in 60 Seconds" "'Rule number one of wizardry, kid,' he said, 'They never expect bazookas!'"~ Rosethorn's "Practicality" "A flip fluffering airship?"- Broccoli Bunch, from Cinnamon Bun (by RavensDagger, on RoyalRoad) "'So-- the forms. Armsmaster, once that’s done, you are going to take a small team and go to the shrine, and you are going to employ the one solution we haven’t tried and offer her a place with the Wards. It’s a bit unorthodox, but I have high hopes for it.' 'Which is?' It’s called,” Director Piggot said, spreading her hands back out in a dramatic pause. 'Talking.'" ~ Unwelcome Storm's "Constellations" (on SpaceBattles) I highly recommend the TV series "Dirk Gently". Never read the books, but the TV series is top notch, easily 9/10. Characterization to make your heart bleed while you laugh, plot so dense and yet so clear (if you think about it), world built like Notre Dame except in primary colors. Also, hard show to spoil, because in order to spoil one part fully, you have to write fifteen paragraphs explaining the rest, though you'll come out at the end of the show with a functional understanding of the entirety. Actors are top of the line, cinematography and effects are solid (not my specialty, but they definitely work), writing like I've rarely seen before. Go watch it. All my stories are what the kids call "Old shame" stories, though short enough to be endurable. The Three Stooges one particularly; I'm really bad at writing off the cuff or writing humor. |
