nice ending im happy draco isn't a drunken idiot anymore

Aww...that ending was perfect. I love the idea of one more that he didn't know about from the dream, something unexpected. This was a really enjoyable read.

I get that you can't help how you feel, but I don't think Hermione should be so surprised to realize it might be a nightmare for someone to have no memory of it but learn that over the last 7 years he has become so much of a drunk that he has almost destroyed his family. I'm wondering what the end point to the liquid is...what set of parameters has to occur before he is pulled out of the daydream?

Ha! I would think she might take more offense at him saying he could think of plenty of ways to keep her mouth shut. LOL But I'm excited to finally figure out exactly what that potion did!

This story is hurting my heart...I can't help but wonder why the heck Hermione would have fallen in love with and married this Draco in the first place. Didn't even know the address of his best friend? Given their history I would think she would tolerate much less shit from him than from anyone else. I'm hoping we find out why she would put up with this for so long.

Oh Hermione *cringe*...talking about "mudblood germs" on a first date? Ugh, the more I read about their life together the sadder I'm becoming.

Uh, this is breaking my heart. I grew up with an alcoholic parent...but without the other non-alcoholic parent around. It's horrible for kids once they get old enough to start realizing that the parent isn't capable of or doesn't care enough to choose them over the alcohol. Although since it wasn't Hermione who had asked him to leave to me it's kind of worse because she also wasn't choosing to protect her kids over her relationship with him. Maybe she didn't feel like it had gotten to that point, but I hope it would have and she eventually would have chosen to protect them ultimately.

Oh...so other? Draco had taken his wedding ring off even though Hermione hadn't? That's a little heartbreaking. He had really been giving up...choosing alcohol over his family.

Pink dress shoes covered in glitter? I don't even know how many pairs of those we've gone through in our house! I have 3 daughters, 2 of which are very girly. I like that he's seeing this life and realizing he apparently hadn't been prioritizing his wife and kids the way he should have been.

Seriously Ginny...seven years and 2 kids later you still can't let that shit go? I'm very interested/excited for him to view her memories!

Oh no, how sad! I didn't realize their life was like this. I'm actually a bit surprised it would have been Draco's idea to move out. I mean, Hermione doesn't seem like the type who would put up with that kind of shit. Though she also doesn't easily give up on the people she loves so yeah, I guess. How interesting that the littlest one knows something isn't right!

So in this fantasy/dream/whatever it is world he drinks to the point where he has to promise his wife he'll stop and then still doesn't? Does Hermione just hate alcohol period or is he not quite stable even in what is supposed to be a life he wants?
