Yes, yes this most certainly counts as fluff! Fluff is anything that makes you squee and sigh happily and just die from sheer cuteness, and this story did all of those things. It was the perfect blend of cynical / romantic Arthur. I've always imagined that both boys are super romantics at heart. (And the idea of "the one" being the person who can bake the perfect sweet pastries sounds very fairy tale-esque. I loved it!)

But you know, I think this story might need an R rating because your description of the pie is definitely food porn ;)

"I am going to let the homosexuality rain down upon you and open your eyes in enlightenment" is a line that cracked me up.

I absolutely love this. It was beautifully written (first person was a good choice for this) and well done. Everything was descriptive and their relationship is so sweet in this. I'm happy Arthur finally met someone!

In the author's note at the end- I totally agree with your view of Alfred. He seems to always be model-material when I write, perfect in every way. Arthur is good-looking in his own way that some people appreciate and some don't. Always cute though. c;
