I wonder how Lyon acted to hearing of what his "brother" tried to do?

I really liked this story, but I recommend against the random Japanese. It takes away from the seriousness of the story, and some of the words aren't used properly. It doesn't make sense that you would have Cana would call Gray 'baka' when 'idiot' or 'fool' works just fine. If it's a word that doesn't have an English equivalent, then it's fine, but here it just detracts from the story.

Also, the romaji for "お願い" (please) is 'onegai', not 'onigai'. 'Onigai' ("鬼買い") means 'ogre buying'.

The most amazing thing would be if you wrote an alternate ending where gray went through with it. I love this story and would love that. Anyways, it was overall a great story

These chapters were just so... I have no words. Please continue this, I'd love to see you add things about Silver and how he reacted. Love it. XD

I came across this story when I was listening to 'Human' by Christina Perri and the feels crashed into me. I love this story so much! Though I am wondering where you'll go from here...But please for everything holy, continue this story!

It was beautiful, you portrayed Gray's emotions perfectly.
And it's just like Gray to keep everything to himself, he may help others come out of their shells (Erza, Juvia and even Angel) but when it comes to himself, he doesn't want anyone to help him. He's afraid to be seen as weak, he's supposed to be a ice mage, cold, calculating and as hard as ice. But he's not like that. He too is a human being, with a beating heart in his chest that yearns for emotions.
Though I am a bit surprised it was Jellal that talked him out of it. I think of them as rivals in a way, but it was a surprisingly good twist.

Hope you'll be writing more Gray in the future.

this story was horribly amazing! :'( didn't help that I was reading the really depressing parts while listening to 'Shattered' by Trading Yesterday -.- I cant wait for your next update! I really want to see the guild's reaction... especially Team Natsu! I have a feeling that our favourite red head and dragon slayer are going to beat the living snot out of him :P hopefully jellal will be able to protect poor Gray from their impending wrath!

That was a really good depiction of what Gray might experience if he did fall into depression, with all the emotional trauma and attempts by friends to support him. I congratulate you on this well-written story (or chapter if you make updates to it later on).

I also thought about it! there were times when gray almost died, but there always someone who would save him. Doesn'it make him feel burden or sad or even tired? cause he made someone sacrificed his/her live. gray's parent, ur, and finally ultear. That must be hard for him!

anyway, I like when you decided jellal to stop him. he also has a lot of trouble in his life. so that he could concive gray not to end his life. Jellal knew the feeling, haha
