Hello, my beautiful readers. I know it's been a whole year since I've updated a chapter to this story, but it's mainly because I've been excessively busy working two jobs and trying to think and write out this next chapter.

I would also like to announce that after this chapter, I might rewrite the whole story. I'm talking about rewriting and editing every single chapter. Some of the chapters will be a little different, yet still the same. However, the plot of this story will not change. This story will not be canceled, nor take a haitus.

2014 was the exact year that I made the decision to upload my story for others to read. In the first few chapters, you notice the grammatical errors, the misuse of commas, etc. I'm just going to be blunt and come clean.

It was my first time writing so I had no clue what I was doing. I couldn't help but slightly cringe reading my own chapters, because some of them barely made any sense and I really don't want to confuse my readers. Not to mention the fight with Gajeel and Moka was just lazy and sloppy.

To be honest, I genuinely didn't think anyone would like it, mainly because of Outer Moka not being likable in the Rosario + Vampire fandom. But as time slowly flew by, if I can remember correctly, I somehow managed to gain 20 followers and I only had 4 chapters added to the story. Now, I can't exactly remember how many favors I gained during that time, but I do remember that it wasn't a small number of people who favored my story.

The chapter with Gajeel and Moka's fight is being properly fixed.

I hope you enjoy the chapter! ;)

Chapter 19

Moka kept her gazed locked on the Dragon Slayer who was sitting across from her as she waited for him to explain about the fire dragon that trained him seven years ago.

"Anyway, he's huge with scales, large wings, and a tail," he described lazily. "Your turn."

Moka frowned, displeased with his lack of an effort to give an explanation about the dragon. "No." she huffed in dissatisfaction, turning away from him while folding her arms.

"No?" repeated Natsu with surprise and disappointment, checking to see if he heard right.

"Mmhm. You heard me," she nodded, her eyes closed with her nose in the air. "I didn't stutter. I won't tell you."

Natsu's face scrunched up with irritation. "Argh! Why the hell not?!" he demanded frustratingly. "I told you everything you wanna know about him, didn't I?"

Moka let out an incredulous scoff at his ridiculous excuse and opened her mouth to argue only for Mirajane to intervene. "Natsu, when Moka said to tell her all about him, she wanted you to give her full detail of everything you know about him, not just his appearance, silly." she chuckled lightly, softly shaking her head.

Nodding in agreement, Moka gave him a pointed look. "What she said. So until you tell me about this dragon, I won't tell you about my magic," she said haughtily, snapping her head away from his direction.

"Oh, c'mon, don't be like that!" whined Natsu, annoyance in his voice. "We made a deal, right?"

"Yeah. We did," she confirmed with a nod. "And that deal was for me to tell you about my magic if you told me everything about the dragon that trained you and since you couldn't do that, I will not tell you about the kind of magic I use. My decision is final." she restated, her lips pursing in a thin line.

Natsu clenched his teeth in frustration at the vampire's relentless refusal to cooperate with him. Trying to convince her to reveal to him about the girl's secret magic on her half of the deal seemed futile. For being such a sweet girl, Natsu never pegged her to be a stubborn individual like himself. The Dragon Slayer held his gaze with his shinso vampire friend. As her stare intensified a bit, that's when he knew that she was the type of person who knew good and well what she wanted and would practically do anything to get it, no matter what the cause may be. "Oh, for cryin' out...fine, I'll tell ya." he groaned in defeat.

Delighted with his decision to cooperate, Moka gave a patronizing yet genuine, sweet smile. "See? Now, that wasn't so hard. Wasn't it, Natsu?" Natsu's eye twitched, irked by her condescending attitude towards him. However, he knew she was only joking to irritate him further. "Now, go on. On the half of your deal, tell me about this ol' mighty dragon of yours.

"Hey, you better watch what you say about Igneel! He may be old, but he'll burn you into a crisp if you as so much as to look at him the wrong way. So don't you go gettin' it twisted."

Moka raised an eyebrow with interest, an amused smile appearing on her face. "Oh, is that so?" she questioned in a rather playful manner.

Natsu gave a confident grin in response. "Bet your ass he is! Trust me, he's a lot stronger than you think."

"Oh really?" she asked, playing along. "Just how strong is this dragon you call Igneel?"

Moka silently listened as Natsu told the story of how he was raised by Igneel. He went on to explain how the dragon not only taught him fire magic for self-defense but how to read and write as a mere child. By how Natsu talked about the fire dragon, she could immediately tell that he was very fond of him. "You sound like you really miss him."

"Yeah," he replied, looking away from her. "He just disappeared right outta the blue without saying a word to me seven years ago. The only thing I've got left of him now is my scarf," he said, tugging at his scarf a bit.

Moka gave him a sympathetic expression. By how Natsu elaborated about his childhood, it gave her a feeling that this Igneel had been the only family Natsu ever had. She could only imagine how Natsu must have felt, after having someone that he cared about just vanish without a single trace. Even as a child, no less. Moka couldn't understand how someone could go as far as to cruelly desert a child that they raised as their own.

'Poor guy. How can someone just abandon him like that without saying anything to him? Not even a goodbye?' It didn't matter how long ago it happened, no child deserved to go through utter abandonment and loneliness...not even Natsu. However, to her surprise, he was still able to smile through almost everything.

"Alright, Moka," sounded Natsu's voice, bringing her out of her thoughts. Moka hummed in response as she looked over to his face to see it clouded with solemnity. "I did what you asked. Now, it's your turn to do what we agreed on." Moka went to part her lips to interject, but Natsu refused to have any of it. "No backin' out on me, you got that?"

Her mouth instantly closed, taking instant notice of how determined and serious that he looked. Moka had high hopes of avoiding telling Natsu about her mysterious yet frightening magic. There was still a part of her that wasn't ready to let the entire world know any of it. After witnessing what it can do, she felt sure that people would fear her, especially when she had no complete control over her inner side. However, she knew it would be rather unfair to refuse since Natsu did unexpectedly do his part on the half of their deal.

Her whole body tensed with anxiety, her hands trembling. "O-Okay, I'll show you."

Natsu gave her a frown, becoming slightly confused. "Show me? Show me what?"

"I can't exactly explain it...but what I can do is show you how it works," she replied, looking away from him. "Just promise me you won't be afraid of me by the time this is over, please," she said, raising her head to look at him before closing her eyes in concentration.

Natsu blinked a couple of times, perplexed of the idea of being afraid of her. "What do you-" His question was immediately silenced by a magic circle appearing before his very eyes. His eyes grew in large sizes, his mouth falling open with utter and complete shock. "Whoa..." he let out, examining the design of the odd circle. "What's that?" He observed the symbol of a moon that was centered in the middle along with five strange symbols circulated around it. He turned his attention turned to Moka, only to have his curiosity take him further as he was now witnessing a violet-colored aura forming around her body.

Becoming concerned, Mirajane's hand landed softly on her shoulder. "Easy, Moka."

Moka hummed in response, keeping her eyes closed to stay focused on her magic energy. She felt herself draining dry as beads of sweat accumulated around her forehead. Natsu silently admired her determination to remain focused. Not even he could keep himself to stay focused from distractions when he and his team are in dangerous situations.

'She's really serious about releasing her magic energy, isn't she? Amazing.'

Before he could muse to himself more, he felt the ground underneath him shake violently along with the table. His eyes quickly flitted to a terrifying-looking Moka with her eyes shot wide open as violet magical energy surrounded her body. The atmosphere around him felt entirely different. What really threw him off was her eye color change. Instead of seeing her emerald orbs, he saw ruby red.

"Moka, stop! You're using up too much magic energy!" Mirajane cried, taking a step back from the girl.

"I...can't!" Moka managed to scream out as more magic poured out of her. Strange black markings covered her chest and her forehead as she struggled to gain full control of her powers. Unable to stop any more of her magic from releasing, she felt all of her strength leave her body.

If only there was a "STOP" button somewhere planted on her body, she would gladly press it within an instant to put an end to this everlasting energy of hers. The last thing she wanted was to become erratic with her powers. She shuddered to think what the reactions of her guildmates would be after this.

'Damn. Can't...stop. Must...stop.'

Her eyes flew wide open from a sharp pain coming in contact with the back of her head. As the magical energy around her begin to die down, her orbs changed back to its original emerald color. The markings on her chest and forehead faded away. Moka's eyes fell closed and begin to fall forward. Mirajane quickly caught her by the shoulders before her upper body could hit the table.

"Moka..." she murmured with concern, embracing the shinso vampire.

Natsu remained his shocked gaze on the unconscious girl for a short moment and glared at Moka's perpetrator. "What the hell, Gajeel?!" he yelled, standing up from where he sat. "What'd you do that for?!" he demanded, stomping over to Gajeel.

"Ease up, Salamander." the iron dragon slayer snapped as his hand reverted from an iron pillar back to normal. "If I hadn't bashed your little bloodsucking friend in the back of 'er skull, she woulda got herself killed," he added, staring blankly at the pyro.

Ignoring what Gajeel said, Natsu let out a growl. The insult directed at Moka only made him even angrier than he was not too long ago. "JUST WHO YOU CALLIN' A BLOODSUCKER?!" he roared monstrously, his hands igniting into flames.

The entire guild remained silent, stunned by his sudden loud outburst. This wouldn't be the first time that they have seen Natsu this livid before, but not with someone who's apart of Fairy Tail. Of course, there was a time where Natsu got extremely angry about not only their guild being attacked but their comrades as well by Phantom Lord. However, seeing him become enraged someone apart of their guild wasn't what they were expecting.

"That's enough!" came Erza's voice, making both dragon slayers separate.

Both Erza and Makarov made their way to the scene through the crowd of people. "Calm yourself, Natsu." the master instructed, making his way towards the both of them. Natsu's glared lingered on his rival but did as he was told by putting out his flames. "What Gajeel speaks is the truth," he concurred, earning an incredulous glare from Natsu.

"You're kiddin', right, Gramps?"

The master shook his head. "I assure you that I am not, Natsu. Moka's intellect and spirit are very frail and weak at this very moment. If Gajeel hadn't rendered her unconscious, her magic would have taken over and obliterated her from the inside." he responded, turning his to study a passed out Moka. "There's no mistake. However, I never thought I'd come across these rare users of this type of magic in all my years of existence."

Erza was the first to be curious. "You know the type of her magic, Master?"

"Of course," he answered. "From what was demonstrated in front of us, it appears that Moka possesses rare and ancient magic that is harvest from the moon itself. In other words, Lunar Magic."

"Lunar Magic?" Natsu repeated.

"Magic...from the moon?" Lucy questioned in thought. "Hold on, if she uses magic from the moon, wouldn't it only be limited for her to use it when it's out around night? How can she release magic energy in broad daylight if it's not nighttime?"

"I'm not certain, Lucy," Makarov answered truthfully. "There must be a special lacrima she's using if she is able to use this particular magic during the day."

Mirajane shook her head while still holding Moka. "No. I don't think so." she disagreed. "Moka is still new to our world, so I don't think she's fully aware of any magical items yet." paused Mirajane.

"But that's impossible." Happy disputed. "The moon and the sun can't be out at the same time. If she's not using any lacrimas, then how's she using magic when the moon's not out? I didn't know any better, I'd say the moon somehow switched places with the sun."

"Good point." Lucy agreed with a nod.

As Elfman heard this, he turned his attention towards his sister. "You knew about this, Sis?" he asked, earning a nod from the barmaid. "For how long?"

"I only found out about this yesterday," she responded holding Moka close to her. "Ever since she discovered having magic, she has been training so hard every single night on her own to learn how to use it," Mirajane said.

Natsu frowned slightly at Mirajane. "But why? If she had magic all this time, why didn't she tell us? We would've helped her out on how to use it." he reasoned.

"Natsu," Mirajane began "you have to understand that some people prefer to learn magic on their own. You can try to help as much as you want, but the more you try to do so, the more she'll insist on practicing by herself." she added.

"That will not be an option." proclaimed Erza as she walked to stand next to the master. "While I do admire her bravery for coaching herself on how to use her magic, I can't allow her to continue her reckless method of training alone. Judging by what the master explained to us earlier, Moka needs specialized training from others who have experience in learning magic."

"Tonight, she's set to take her very first job," Mirajane mentioned. The other members of the guild begin murmuring amongst themselves about the current subject.

"What?!" Makarov's eyes widen. "From where exactly?" he demanded.

"A woman who runs an antique shop that's not too far from here in Magnolia," she responded, looking at Makarov before turning her gaze to Moka. "She told me that these jobs are supposedly far more dangerous than our S-class ones. The two of us don't know what kind of job it is, but she seems so determined to take it."

"Is she completely nuts?!" cried Gray from where he stood. "She can't take on a job if its dangerous, especially if she doesn't know what she's up against."

Mirajane went to reply, but Erza interjected. "And you were just going to idly stand by and foolishly allow her to take this request?" The scarlet-haired woman narrowed her eyes at Mirajane as she marched up to her.

"You haven't known her long enough to realize what her actions would be next," she remarked with a slight glare. "You don't get it. Even if I did try to convince her otherwise, she would still take the job without a single thought."

As Natsu listened to the conversation, he gave a small shrug. "Okay, so the girl wants to take her first job? What's the big deal?" he questioned, casually throwing his hands behind his head.

A disapproving glare was thrown at Natsu by the master. He couldn't fathom how the fire wizard can be so mindless at times like these. The last thing Makarov needed was the boy's nonchalant attitude in the situation they were in. "I don't think you understand how serious this is, Natsu." reprimanded the elderly man. "Do you even realize how badly this could end for not only Moka but for individuals who happen to be in public? If her magic were to spiral out of control in a public place full of people and none of us are there to stop it, there is no telling what action the Magic Council would have to take."

No matter how much Natsu wanted to disagree, he knew he couldn't doubt everything his wise master says. He understood what the consequences would be if Moka lost control of her magic once again. Even if she had been here for five weeks, he knew that she was still having trouble adjusting to Earthland; their world full of nothing but magic and fighting. Natsu was not a massive fan of the Magic Council. After unintentionally destroying buildings on the jobs he and his team would take, he couldn't remember having any pleasant encounters with them in the past. Being locked away in a jail cell for all eternity wasn't something he wanted for Moka, considering that she was now one of his friends.

Natsu let out a grunt and cast his head down to the floor, balling his hands into a fist. "Alright, fine. Guess I can't really argue with you."

Makarov kept his gaze on the salmon-haired boy before turning his attention towards both Mirajane and the unconscious Moka. "Get her to the infirmary. I have a feeling we'll be having a long discussion with Moka about this."

A groan released from her throat from someone poking at her head. Turning over on her back, her eyes slowly opened to see herself in her sights leaning over her. Her evil self at that. Moka quickly raised her head up off the ground, deliberately headbutting the evil Moka in the process.

"Ouch!" cried the evil Moka, holding forehead in pain. "The hell you do that for?! That hurt!" she caterwauled, sending her original self a dirty look.

Moka only scowled at the evil Moka before her. "It's supposed to hurt." she retorted in a calm voice. "You deserve it for that stupid stunt you pulled earlier."

"Stupid stunt?!" she angrily reiterated. "I help you out and this is how you repay me?!"

She received a scoff from Moka. "If making me nearly lose control of my magic is what you call being helpful, then I'd hate to see what being destructive looks like," she muttered under her breath.

A tick mark made itself known on the side of the evil Moka's head. "I heard that!" she retaliated with a glare. "Anyway, you should feel good about yourself that someone as strong and powerful as me would even consider helping a lowly monster like you. Honestly, the fact that you're even a shinso vampire pisses me off." she scoffed with disgust, folding her arms. "I can see why Tsukune left you."

There was nothing but pure silence surrounding the two of them. "What did you say?" She heard her ask in a deadly voice and turned her head to see immense magic energy pouring out of an angry looking Moka.

The evil Moka took in the sight before her and gave a smirk in satisfaction. She discovered bringing up Tsukune was what triggered her and she loved every second of it. "I said it's no wonder Tsukune left you...for someone more beautiful and stronger than you," she repeated boldly. "If anyone should have him, it should be me. I'd make him glad he chose me over you by satisfying him the only way a real woman can." she taunted, putting a hand over her chest.

A low blow.

"Just look at me," she said, roaming her hands over her lovely body. Her hands were mainly caressing her large bust to mock Moka. "I have everything that a man would want in a woman. If Tsukune didn't choose the other Moka, he'd be all over me, his hands touching me in places I never knew I had. How could he ever want someone like you when you don't even have the assets of a real woman?"

Bad move.

Moka stood to her feet with her bangs shadowing over her eyes. She paid little attention to the magical energy that continued to pour out of her more and balled her hands into fists. Her hair began to turn white and her eyes becoming blood red. Her wings grew from her back as her hands became claws.

The evil Moka smiled delightfully as she watched her transformation progress in front of her. "That's it." she urged, her eyes now turning red. "Don't fight it. Let hatred and darkness consume you."

And then in a flash, blood was spilled.

Her green eyes shot open and shot her upper body forward from where she lied.

"She's awake!" exclaimed a voice.

Those two words went unheard as she was fully awake and too wrapped up in her own nightmarish world. Moka began to hyperventilate; her hand clutched tightly on her chest.

It was there.

The one being she had tried so hard not to become.

Her hatred was what brought her to become it.

And she lost her battle into becoming it.

Its large wings.

Its long white hair.

Its blood-red eyes.

The monster itself.

However, she could never leave out the next thing she had hoped she'd never have to see.

Blood.

There was blood. So much blood. On her clothes. Her skin. Her hands. All of it seemed like it was everywhere to the point where she saw nothing more than red. Its scent lingered in the air like a revolting, yet deliciously sweet perfume. It was like staring at a red river that flowed endlessly. It didn't stop. It wouldn't stop. It just continued to flow.

And she was the cause of that blood bath.

Beads of sweat rolled down her skin as she struggled to maintain her breathing. The lungs in her body felt like they had been tied in a tight knot and were about to explode out of her chest. That would be a slow painful death than an instant one.

"What's wrong with her?!" Natsu asked in a tense, yet worried tone.

As she tried to catch her breath, a hand found its way to Moka's back. "She's having a panic attack," Mirajane stated in a calm voice. She stayed by the vampiress' side and rubbed her back in small circles. "Moka, listen to me, try to breathe, okay? Inhale," She did as Mirajane instructed and inhaled the air around her. "Good. Now release." She closed her eyes and exhaled slowly. Her breathing grew calm as she continued to take in deep breathes. "Are you alright, Moka?"

She hesitantly nodded. "Y-Yeah. It was just her messing with me again," she told Mirajane.

Natsu raised an eyebrow, curious about who was messing with her. "Her? Who you talkin' about?"

"She's..." Moka was about to respond, but immediately closed her mouth when she realized that she and Mirajane weren't the only ones present in the room. "N-Nothing."

His face scrunched into a frown. He didn't believe her. It was in her scent. "You're lying," he said. After witnessing everything unfold in front of his eyes, he was growing tired of Moka hiding everything from them. They were friends now, so there was no need for her to keep everything in. "She doesn't sound like nothing to me."

Moka turned her attention to her hands. "I told you already. It's nothing."

Natsu let out a low growl in frustration. "Just how long you gonna keep lying to us?" he demanded.

"All her life." remarked the evil Moka.

"You know ya can't keep this up forever, right? I told you everything about Igneel just like you wanted me to, didn't I?" he reasoned, walking over towards her. Moka gave no answer. "I thought we were supposed to be friends!"

The silence between them passed for a second before Moka decided to use her voice. "We're not friends." she retorted rather icily, earning a few shocked gasps and quiet grunts from the people present in the infirmary. "And I sure as hell don't remember ever saying that I was in the first place." Her eyes flitted over to a stunned Natsu. Moka thought she saw a flash of hurt in his eyes. A small pang of guilt tightened in her chest as she realized how harsh her choice of words was. It couldn't be helped. She did what needed to be done. It was the only way to protect herself. It was also for their own protection as well. There was a wicked entity living off inside of her day by day as she breathed. The mere image of herself losing control of her body and bringing bloodshed upon innocent lives scared her the most.

"What the hell is your problem?" Natsu growled, walking over from where he stood.

"Natsu..." Mirajane started, ready to prevent an argument between him and Moka, only to be cut short.

"This morning, you're were all sugary and sweet towards me, and now all of a sudden you're actin' like I did something wrong." he ranted in frustration. "Is that your way of messin' with me or somethin'? Because if it is, I don't get it. Besides, everything's already out on the table now, so what's the point in you tryin' to hide everything?" he continued on. Moka simply looked away and remained silent, refusing to acknowledge any of his questions.

Even after showing them what she has been hiding, she wasn't ready for them to know everything just yet. "That's quite enough, Natsu." came Makarov's voice, making her snap her head in his direction. "You just leave the questioning to me." Makarov sauntered over to Moka's bed and gave her a stern expression. "Moka, my dear, don't you think it's high time you put an end to this charade of yours?"

Her silence was the only thing she was giving him.

"We're all wizards here, so there is no need for you to keep it secretive any longer," he reassured, trying to make her feel comfortable with divulging with not only him, but the remaining ones in the room. "You can tell us, Moka. We're not here to cause you harm of any sort. We just wish to ask a couple of questions concerning your magic."

"I know," she responded blankly.

"Answer me this," he began, keeping his voice in a firm manner with his arms behind his back. "How long have you known that you could use magic?"

Moka swallowed hard and parted her lips to answer. "Three weeks."

"THREE WEEKS?!" exclaimed a shocked Natsu, leaning over towards her. "And you didn't bother tellin' any of us?"

A metallic fist immediately found its way to Natsu's head, making Moka flinch back a bit. "It's impolite to interrupt, Natsu." Erza reprimanded with a glare. She turned her attention towards Moka and gave her a nod. "Continue."

"O-Oh...right. As I was saying," she paused, clearing her throat to speak. "Ever since arriving here in this world, I've had a lot of weird things happening to my body," she added, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I don't know how to explain it, but I kept hearing a voice in my head telling me that I must find a way to activate it somehow." Leaving out the part about the other Moka to everyone but Mirajane seemed best for not only them but for her.

"A voice, you say?" Makarov reiterated with interest.

They didn't need to be aware of what was living inside her body. There was already too much that was going on for her and she didn't need another pile to the load. "I didn't understand why, so I decided to find out for myself," Moka added, ignoring the master.

Erza stared at Moka with interest in her eyes. "By doing what exactly? I assume you did your research about your magic in the miniature library of our guild."

Moka nodded. "Yes. It wasn't just the mini-library I looked through to learn about my magic. I've been studying on how to open up my five chakras to release my magic energy."

"Hmm. Impressive." Erza complimented, folding her arms with a small smile. "What were you doing to learn this particular magic?"

"Um..." Moka stumbled and glanced at Mirajane for approval. She received a small smile as a sign for her to resume. "I've been sneaking out at night to different locations of this town to practice. I know it may seem risky, but I couldn't put Mira and her brother in danger by learning magic in their house."

"I see then," Erza said.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Gray questioned, leaning against the wall. "We would've been more than happy to help you out with your magic."

"Aye." Happy agreed.

"I..." paused Moka, allowing her thoughts to take over.

'Can I trust these people?'

That was a perfectly valid question she had to ask herself. After everything she was forced to endure in the forest, the thought of trusting people was nowhere in her mind. Even though the members of the guild displayed nothing more than kindness and compassion towards her, she still didn't trust them one bit. To her, they were still complete strangers. She was uncertain if she wanted to or not, considering how interrogative they were being. It not only annoyed her that they kept questioning her, but they also made her feel like a suspect of something that was her doing.

But as Mirajane once told her, everyone at the guild is supposed to be considered family. And since she became a member of Fairy Tail, she now had a family that she didn't want to be apart of. It wouldn't seem right to continue leaving them in the dark about everything she's been keeping from them.

"I was scared," she answered truthfully.

"But why, Moka?" Natsu asked, clearly not grasping what she was trying to say.

The air in the infirmary was silent until Moka regained her confidence to speak. "Because...I'm not where I should be."

"What do you mean?"

She let out a frustrated sigh and looked down at her hands. "You people just don't get it, do you?" she said, her voice growing slightly angry. "I'm a vampire from a world full of nothing but monsters. Doesn't any of that scare you?"

Natsu blinked a couple of times and smiled. "No, not really," he countered softly, causing Moka to look at him in astonishment. "I'll admit it. I was a little freaked out at first when Gramps told us you came from your monster world," he confessed, folding his arms. "But since I've partied with demons before, I realized that not all monsters are what people make em' out to be. Yeah, you may be a vampire, but you have thoughts and feelings just like any person in this world."

The entire room but Mirajane, Erza, and Makarov goggled at Natsu in disbelief and shock.

"N-No way," Lucy whispered in awe. "Natsu realized something for once."

"Yeah...and he said something intelligent," Gray added.

Natsu's head snapped back to glare at the two. "Watch it!"

As an argument broke out between both Natsu and Gray, Moka stared off into space deep in thought.

"I don't care if you're a monster and I'm a human; that doesn't matter anymore, Moka. 'Cause I still wanna be your friend!"

"Even if you are a vampire...I still like you...Moka."

Her eyelids lowered a bit as she remembered the kind words of her beloved. 'Tsukune.'

"It's decided," Makarov announced, bringing her back to reality. "Moka, while you were unconscious, it has been brought to my attention by Mira that you have intentions on taking a job. Is that indeed true?" The pinkette snapped her head towards Mirajane and gave her an evil glare. With the feeling of utter guilt, she mouthed a "sorry" to the vampiress. "Don't be angry with her. Mirajane, just as the rest of us are genuinely concerned for you, considering your situation." When her silence was the only response, he once again asked. "So...is it true?"

"Yes." she boldly replied. "It is..."
